Jan 19,2025We often use Travelzoo for our regular trips away and Aldwark Manor is a really top class hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay and there were some nice gestures by the hotel staff, due to our visit being to celebrate my birthday.

Jan 18,2025Hellidon lakes was well signposted to get too and very clear organised car parking facilities. Spacious and beautiful reception area and checkin was straight forward. Rooms - clean and tidy. Overlooking golf course and lakes. Divan bed base connector was not securely fitted . Restaurant was quiet as we were proclaimed Visiting in quiet occupancy time. Food was well served and filling. Spa experience not the greatest service from staff - left to own devices into find changing rooms and gyms area. Thermal suite area clean and tranquil big rooms can do with signs of what each room was. Hydrotherapy pool not working and we were not informed. Apparently had been not working day before either. This was a shame and should have been communicated to us. Made my daughter special with a welcom room card and birthday plate at meal time. Woukd go again but in the summer when the weather is better. The thermal spa is limiting facilities as there is no pool or jaccuzi in the gym area. Recommend for Shirt break but limited spa facilities except The 2 hours booked. Staff all friendly especially at reception desk and in the restaurant.

Jan 18,2025The place was warm and friendly (on a cold January day). The service was good (if expensive at 15%). The choice of two items per course with the Travel zoo vouchers was limited but the food was excellent and,with a glass of champagne, was good value for such an exclusive venue.

Jan 18,2025The meal at St Leonards was absolutely 1st class, as was the whole dining experience. The staff were friendly & quietly efficient...the food excellent on every course, the surroundings perfect. Tables are well spaced & a good size, seating is comfortable. I was meeting a friend, we both agreed we'd definitely return.
