University of the People is an American non-profit distance education institution of higher education that offers undergraduate and graduate degrees.
As a student from developing countries, I am very lucky. I never thought I would get a standard education. People University, however, has made my early dream come true. So my respect and gratitude to them is high. I have learned a lot since I started my undergraduate studies in health sciences. It is amazing when generations from different countries of the world guide each other, advise each other, discuss each other, share experiences with each other. I liked the university for having a very experienced and kind, smooth classroom. I came here to start my action to work on Ethiopians who are exposed to death and suffering due to poor health. They are making me realize a lot about working with international students, career development and the opportunity to work with the biggest companies in the world. When I graduate, I will be the ambassador of the university and I will send a message to the next generation in my country, Ethiopia

Best nonprofit online University!
After many years of self pity and regrets, due to lack of funds to advance my studies, I managed to get a full scholarship from the UoPeople to further my education! These studies came with a lot of goodies such as unsynchronized studies, whereby you study at your on chosen time while working full time, doing business or even taking care of family. You do not have to be present with your lecturer. I also like their Peer Learning which helps me to engage with other students from across the globe, while exchanging ideas!
This university consistently demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence and innovation, fostering a vibrant learning environment for students.
The fact that I study on my own pace and it is tuition free. the staff members are very engaging and willing to share more with everyone.
Making new friends and enjoy the online campus.. Its just a great feeling to be back at school.
Hello! Studying at UoPeople has indeed been a great experience,
this University is providing high-level education for the fraction of the price. it gives people the chance to learn in the best possible way even if they don't have the means for it!
During my first week here, I truly enjoyed my study experience. It was filled with exciting new challenges, intriguing subjects, and a sense of accomplishment. Learning in this environment was both engaging and fulfilling, making it a memorable start to my academic journey.
I've recently embarked on my journey towards a business degree with the University of the People and my experience has been incredibly rewarding so far. The university offers a wide range of programs that are DEAC nationally accredited, providing both credibility and flexibility. The first thing that caught my attention was their generous credit transfer policy, allowing me to bring in 66 of my prior credits. This, coupled with a tuition-free model, makes it a highly cost-effective choice for anyone looking to further their education. The only expenses are nominal assessment fees at the end of each course, making the estimated total cost for a bachelor's degree impressively low at around $5,000. Course formats are well-structured, featuring learning outlines, readings, assignments, and discussion groups. Assignments are primarily academic writing-based, requiring adherence to APA formatting. Instructor and peer reviews offer constructive feedback, helping me improve as I proceed. While some might find the peer review assessments a point of contention, it works well for me. The support system is more on the self-help side, which may not cater to everyone's needs, but it perfectly suits my situation as a seasoned professional. It's important to note that while the university is DEAC accredited, it's not regionally accredited. Therefore, prospective students should make sure that this meets their specific requirements. However, for someone like me, who isn't competing for positions requiring degrees from prestigious institutions, DEAC accreditation is more than sufficient. All in all, if you're looking for an affordable and flexible way to pursue a degree, University of the People should be at the top of your list. My satisfaction so far has been high and I highly recommend it for anyone who is budget-conscious but doesn't want to compromise on quality. #UoPeople
It felt good to be able to learn from anywhere: from my bathroom, from my bedroom, from my office desk, while commuting on the bus... before that I was subjected to a classroom where the environment can be depressing most of the times. Being able to afford an education that I can't afford because of grants and scholarships. Being able to transfer the previous degree I started with. This company is making education possible for many where there were 0 (zero) oppurtonities... and I am not talking about in my rural town or city, but in remote, hard to reach regions of the world where satellite technology has reached.
I am freshman in UoPeople that is why I do not have to say a lot. Instructor and my classmates are so warm and always there to help me. Ambassador is also so patient and answer me whatever I ask a question. He is always there to help me and answer me. I am so grateful to study in UoPeople.
I chose UoPeople because of its flexibility and accessibility, which allows people to study from anywhere while maintaining their own jobs, making education more attainable for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
