Nov 27,2024I had a truly wonderful experience with Viv Europe. Moving to Portugal is hard. There is so much false information online that it is shocking. You will read articles and watch videos that tell you it is easy. It is not. Viv Europe made everything possible for me. They supported me through everything. From getting the NIF to opening a Portuguese bank account to guiding and advising about financial documents, employment documents, tax documents. They were there to help with the VFS appointment, the required paperwork for getting a pet moved to Portugal. They even helped me get my apartment! None of this would have been manageable without Viv Europe. You should not consider moving to Portugal without the help of Viv Europe. I cannot recommend them enough.

Nov 01,2024There is a reason that you are reading this review, is that maybe you are thinking of relocating to a new country to start a new life and have no idea where to start! Trust me it’s no easy task doing this all by yourself. It can be done, but there are many hurdles to cross before your dream comes true! I did a lot of research trying to find a relocation company that would suit all my needs. The one I chose is Viv Europe. Well, what can I say? Don’t bother looking anywhere else, this company is brilliant. They help you all the way from start to finish, and the cost is very reasonable and payment is only made at each successful stage. Communication is outstanding, and they always answer emails very promptly. It’s not just the process of applying for residence, they are on hand to answer any questions. It could be a tax question or how to apply for a driving licence, they will help. Matheus & Victor have a wealth of knowledge, and seem to know all those answers. If they don’t know the answer, they know someone who does. Please, don’t bother with any other company, this is the one to help fulfil all your dreams without all the hassle. Outstanding.....

Oct 18,2024It’s been one year since I signed a contract with Viv europe to facilitate my move to Portugal. For a couple of years, I had known that I had wanted to move to Lisbon, even knew the neighborhood where I wanted to live, where I had made friends, but I had no idea how to make it happen. Somehow, I got lucky. All I had to do was click on an ad for Viv europe and request a tele-conference with one of their representatives. When I spoke to Ms. Sousa and told her my plans of moving to Portugal, she politely and assuredly explained how Viv Europe could make it all happen. In another conference, Victor Queiroz explained how they would, through power of attorney, establish my Portuguese Tax number, create a Bank Account for me, guide me through the visa application, both with VFS in the U.S. and with AIMA in Portugal, acquaint and connect me with realtors, providing due diligence of oversight in a rental agreement, and find me a private medical insurance. All which they honorably did. In addition, they have helped with getting a social security number, and I have retained their tax services for the following year. In short, I trust them; I think of them as advisors and friends. They have made me feel welcome. But that doesn’t tell the whole story: The hundreds of emails and the personal attention that Matheus Freitas, my Client Manager, patiently gave to me. There’s nothing I liked reading more than his closing sentence which assured me that Viv europe would help me through every step of the process. He answered every question I had. Immigration is complicated. I can’t imagine someone doing this on their own. Viv Europe kept me apprised of my progress and deadlines as I assembled my application, and to a large degree they let me set my own schedule as I negotiated retirement, the sale of my house, and the myriad of issues and preparations one faces in a transcontinental move. The most frustrating parts of this journey were scheduling an appointment with VFS Global Services and finding a one-year lease in Lisbon, matters largely out of the control of Viv Europe. Both highlight the necessity of being proactive with VFS and with the housing market. Mr. Freitas sent me the contacts of several real estate groups as well as rental properties in neighborhoods that he had found knowing where I wanted to live. Thankfully, I had friends in Portugal who could advise me as well. When I finally found an apartment, Mr. Freitas guided me through the lease agreement and registration with the housing authority. Viv Europe can handle all the complications. The greatest challenge, however, is the intellectual and emotional commitment the immigrant must make to their new country and culture. As I write this, twilight softens over Largo do Mastro in the very neighborhood where I had hoped to live, and one more time I’m going to walk to the window to see that it has all come true. Jul 17,2024Immigrating to another country or continent is a task that often features a great deal of demands as well as many responsibilities --- understanding the process, managing timelines, and providing one’s submissions properly and completely – often in an unfamiliar language. This is also the type of experience that someone might have only once in their lifetime and so they will also have no familiarity for any of the elements of any immigration process, which also tends to vary widely from country to country. Taking this journey on my own became almost instantly overwhelming and so for that reason, I had the team from Viv Europe join me for support. I had checked the online reviews for many support organizations providing this type of service and for my needs and preferences, Viv Europe was a match. I am now a permanent resident of the country I had selected as my new home, Portugal, coming from Canada. In retrospect, my choice of selecting the team as Viv Europe for support proved to be fortuitous. The Viv Europe team is clearly very knowledgeable as well as experienced --- which provided me with a great deal of support and many reassurances along the way. Some tasks were simply such a frustrating challenge (such as opening a bank account in Portugal from afar) I don’t think I could have done this without their representation. On the other hand, there were also some tasks that I was able to complete a bit more independently. The level of support I needed, varied widely from task to task and moment to moment and the team at Viv Europe was always close at hand, often helping me to understand as well as navigate the deeply bureaucratic Portuguese processes which sometimes seemed to feature confusing or duplicative tasks. In addition to the more core immigration tasks themselves, Viv Europe’s team was also able to provide many additional services --- such as helping me locate an apartment that met my needs and preferences while also satisfying the very specific requirements for immigration. They were also helpful for providing me with information about the various medical plans that might be purchased to satisfy immigration requirements. Towards the end of my immigration process, a team member from Viv Europe was also able to join me for my final interview with immigration officials after I had arrived in country. These interviews might be provided at very dispersed and sometimes remote locations – so, this level of support might not always be possible for everyone. For me, it happened that my interview was scheduled for a location that was very close to the home of a Viv Europe team member. It was such a comfort to have them sitting alongside me during this final step of the immigration process. For me, it proved to be a wise decision to enlist the care and support provided by the Viv Europe team during my immigration process. Viv Europe was always “there for me” and they also now share is my own sense of accomplishment and pride as I have now become a permanent resident of the beautiful country of Portugal.

Jun 01,2024I was made to feel at ease and the expectations for the service were set right from the beginning. Matheus was especially responsive to my questions, no matter how specific and really wanted to ensure that I was successful in my application. Even after helping me to complete my Job Seeker application, he was on hand to answer follow-up questions about the next stage, ie. getting a Residency Permit. Would highly recommend Viv Europe to anyone if they would like to save themselves the headache of going through various application processes.

Apr 29,2024I recently sign in to use Viv Europe service for Portugal Visa, unforunately I has to stoped the process and requested for refund from Viv Europe due to some very urgent family issue, they refunded the full amount of total money I paid them back to my account without delay, It is really surprised for me because I never expected that they could refund the money back. it really shows how legit and honest Victor and his team are. They are very honest and legit immigration company. I recommend Viv Europe to anyone who wants to migrate to Portugal or other countries to use them. Thank you Mr Victor and your entire team.

Mar 03,2024Our family decided to move to Portugal in May of 2023. We had Visas in hand by the first week of December. We loved working with VIV because while they were obviously knowledgeable, they are not "know-it-alls!" It was very important for me to have a thought partner in our process who listened to our questions and gave us feedback based on our unique situation. We've seen other situations where people are coached from a script and end up having to do it all over later on. With all the changes that are liable to happen as you are going through your journey (ahem SEF=>AIMA & NHR ending) you need an an agency like VIV that operates with integrity and humility because we are all navigating new territory! I am happy to give them all five stars as I write this from our new home in Portugal!

Feb 13,2024The whole process was longer than I expected, not the fault of Viv-Europe who helped immensely navigating all the various issues that came up. The only small improvement would be, perhaps better availability to speak with someone, as most of the correspondence is through email. I do, though, now have my residence sorted, so happy days. Thanks to the team at Viv-Europe.
