Aug 02,2017Whilst it is indeed a very cheap service, it is clear that you pay for what you got, and so I got a terribly rude, impatient and self-centred. If you get an instructor by the name of Bhavna, for the love of God, and in the name of your sanity and confidence while learning to drive, just REQUEST AN INSTRUCTOR CHANGE. Do it. Trust me. Or you'll spend hours just listening to taunts, shouts, rebukes, insults, and a constant stream of 'what is wrong with you'. Trust me on this one. You do not want her to teach you how to drive.

Jul 25,2017At first I was surprised at how cheap the lessons were and gave them a call. It was extremely straight forward to get the lesson booked in and I received a confirmation text with the drivers details & lesson start time shortly after the call finished. I did also contacted the driver to ask a few questions before the lesson and the instructor was extremely helpful and polite. On the day of the lesson I really enjoyed my lesson and I received some great feed back from my instructor. As I initially bought 5 lessons to start I straight away went ahead and booked another 10 with the same instructor. I recommend want Driving lessons to all my friends and family!

Jul 18,2017I wish I could give them a negative star because their customer service is utterly a nightmare and the instructor is very unprofessional. First off, I tried to have 5 hours trial lessons to see how was it but they charged me the price with 10 hours. I called them to have a refund but surprisingly refund is not one of their policies and I was forced to take the 10-hour lessons. For the instructor (called Ahmed), he is late IN EVERY SINGLE time and often makes up excuses not to show up for the booked hours, such as sickness, car broken, forgot to show up, etc, which is very unprofessional. After having 5 hours of lessons, he didn't even try to continue the remaining lessons by shutting me off by not replying my calls nor messages. I called the customer service and they did not help me much, only to arrange a call for me to negotiate with the instructor, which is supposedly their jobs! I am appalled by this company and for those who want to book lessons with Want Driving Lessons, please AVOID. Nothing cheap comes good.

May 04,2017Wish I could say 0. Made me wait 2 weeks for a lesson at 12 decided to ring them at 12.15 as the instructor was late. Turns out they don't cover that area and didn't bother to even inform me. Wasted 2 weeks of my time, had me waiting and ready on the day with no plans to show up or send a replacement. If I hadn't called I wouldn't of known. Stupid staff "sorry i'll cancel that" and then hangs up as if that has justified anything. No further efforts were made to provide a different driver. Unprofessional.

Apr 07,2017Poor customer service. They will take your money and will not turn up on time they were suppose to. When you called to find out the answer will be the class is cancelled without informing you. If you ask for refund of your money the answer will be "we cant refund you money because its not our policy". I would strongly advise to stay away from them.

Apr 03,2017I think they are the cheapest in London for qualified driving instructors. When looking online for my Daughters lessons i was concious about the price and quality. I had read some mixed reviews and was unsure at first. But i bit the bullet and booked with them. The staff are very friendly and dont force you to book. When i booked i got a confirmation text straight away. My daughter was booked with a female instructor who turned up and introduced herself to me and my wife. She went to the lesson and came back smiling and said she loved her lesson! Shes now on her 12th lesson, she has learnt alot and praises the instructor. The driving company is very good - my neighbours have also now used them. I would 100% recommend them to others - Prices are excellent and quality aswell!

Jan 29,2017The worst experience I have ever had with a driving company. I live in London and asked for a female but apparently there weren't any. I booked 10 lessons and the first instructor I had- hassan- was awful. He would stop off halfway during the lesson to go to the toilet, he did not speak english properly and had no clue what he was doing, he would just make me drive around whilst he ate food in the car for the whole hour. I then switched instructors to Darren who seemed fine at first but then halfway during my lessons with one day notice, he called me to say he was leaving the company and couldn't help me anymore. Furthermore, he would stand outside the car waiting for me smoking so his car smelt awful and he then refused to refund me the full amount of my lessons that i was owed because it wasn't his problem anymore. Dealing with the company was absolutely awful, they are rude and impolite and would not cooperate with my needs. I would avoid you stay away from this company and book with BSM or AA because it is not worth booking cheaper and saving a few pounds as i have learnt the hard way. Absolutely appalling.

Nov 18,2016Want driving lessons is the 3rd driving school I've been to and I wish I came to want driving lesson first time. The booking team were very polite and helpful. I've passed my driving test last week all thanks to my driving instructor who was caring and so helpful and very polite. I've been reading some of the reviews and ive seen comments saying the instructors was always late or would never turn up. My instructor was always on time and never changed my dates.

Oct 31,2016Want driving lessons is a really good driving school. I had a really calm driving instructor with the name of Ibrahim. He gave me clear instructions on how to deal with certain driving situations and taught me many rules of the road. He also corrected me on my mistakes and allowed me time to compose my self. Really good instructor and highly recommendable.

Oct 19,2016Before i started doing lessons with want driving school, i was with 1st class and they did not provide the service i needed to get my license, however when i was introduced to want driving school i was guided into a new light in the aspect of driving and taught things i didnt know. After a good several lessons, i was ready for the test and passed on my second try. Personally this driving school is excellent and deserves more recognition.

Oct 19,2016I am very happy to say i passed my driving test on my first attempt with want driving lessons. Before i started learning how to drive, i had no clue about Automatic lessons and within a space of 2 months - i was ready for my test and passed!! The instructor was very calm and understanding with me, i learned a lot of good things from him and i hope all learner drivers go through this company.

Oct 18,2016I DO NOT recommend this driving school to anyone! I've purchased 5 lessons online on 05/10. When i did so, i did not receive a call or message to confirm my payment and when would my lesson be. So i had to call them and they've booked me a lesson for the tuesday 11/10. I didn't receive a confirmation message or who my driving instructor will be. On the day i was ready for a 9am lesson but nobody showed up. I called them and they said that they couldn't see my payment and that i wasn't actually booked for that day! They've placed another booking for the following tuesday 18/10. This time i did receive a confirmation message but AGAIN nobody showed up! I called the instructor after waiting half an hour and he informed me that he told the school that he was not able to make it. But the school hasn't contact me about this change!! So i've called the school and they said it was a misunderstanding, AGAIN! Finally, i asked for a refund. You should book with them if you would like to waste your time with their misunderstanding! Very unprofessional

Aug 20,2016I see a lot of bad reviews about this company but honestly when I purchased my lessons I found the staff to b friendly, and the instructor was great (I don't want to share the name). I bought the intensive course and had lessons booked around my schedule as well as getting my practical booked for me only 3 days after I finished my lessons. I honestly would recommend this place, reviews don't always paint the full picture!!

Aug 13,2016On July 28th I called to book manual driving lessons, the booking process was simple, I was told that the first available slot was on Monday 15th August at the agreed time of 12pm. I accepted this and thought no more of it. On August 13th I received a text from Ha**an (the instructor) stating that he could no longer teach me at 12pm but he could do 2pm. I stated that this would not work for me as I had work myself at 2:30pm. He went on to say that he has 'issues' to sort out (the 'issues' turned out to be another lessons with somebody else), how about Tuesday at 11:30am. I replied 'we can reschedule this time but please do not make this a habit as I have other commitments too...' He then replied saying that it was better to contact the office and ask them to arrange another instructor. I called the office and spoke to a very rude, smug man named H**rshal, I read the text to him word for word and he pretty much called me a liar, I stated that a reliable instructor wasn't too much to ask for and he replied with well there are plenty of other driving schools you could go to. It resulted in me getting a refund (3-5 working days from Monday baring in mind they took the money within a minute of me booking) and an abrupt bye, I called back to get the name of the man I spoke to and the phone was hung up on me multiple times. This driving school is DISGUSTING, please DO NOT waste your time. You really do get what you pay for,CHEAP lessons for a CHEAP service. STAY WELL AWAY!!

Jun 09,2016Terrible I had a very very bad experience with them, my instructor was ok for only 2 lessons, then when I paid for 10 block lessons he changed completely, he kept moaning all the time when I made mistakes which made me feel very uncomfortable as I was a learner, these instructors forget that we are paying them for a good service and not to be treated like we are dumb just because we arealearning how to drive, the driving instructor kept texting me to cancel lessons over and over again eventually I couldn't be bothered with the lessons anymore n this man VIPS still owes me £100 he drives a small blue Nissan micra, never ever book with this company, when I called them they said they couldn't refund me even if it was not my fault.. Rubbish driving school who are only out to take your money KMT

Feb 16,2016I chose this driving school after my daughter failed with another large driving school where i was paying almost double the price. Want Driving Lessons were very helpful and very quick. I bought package of 10 hours and they also booked my daughters driving test for her within 1 week. I would recommend them to everyone, they are affordable, helpful and very good. Now my son has started lessons with them - he is very excited.

Feb 10,2016I never recommend to anyone this driving school. The first automatic instructor who is assigned by them he cancelled the lesson just 10 mins before it and he asked me to meet at his place a day at the second time. I had 20 lessons with other instructor but the lessons were not regular basis. He always let me know a day before and finally he told me just only 3 days before my test that he can't cover it as he didn't feel I was ready. This was unfair why couldn't he tell me before and they were supposed to assign a different instructor to cover this but they didn't. They didn't even call me back however I called them many times. I really had a very big difficulty to find someone to cover my test and it cost me a lot. They are a disgrace and I lost a lot of money because of them.

Nov 05,2015i failed my test 3 times and was going to give up with driving. Until my friend recommened this driving school which i've been with for the past few months. I was given my instructor and he was so polite and would always be available for me in the evenings as i work. I now drive to work because i finally passed and first time too!!

Oct 28,2015The staff are so helpful. At one point i was always calling up to ask so many different questions and they would always give me the correct information i needed. Now i've recommened my cousin to take her lessons with them and hopefully she can have the same instructor as me because he was the best.

Aug 11,2017Just passed my driving test! Failed first time with BSM was paying aroud £40per hour then found out there is no difference between instructors apart from branding. Was recommended to Want Driving Lessons by my cousin and couldnt believe the price difference - was expecting the service to reflect the prices but was astonished at the profesionalism of the instructors and the when booking. I had Bhavna as my driving instructor and she was amazing - she knew the test routes, we covered all the manovers and i was ready to take my test having 20 hours. I cant really fault her, there was a mixup of times for the first lesson but was just a simple confusion - apart from that i had no issues. i would say avoid the national driving schools stick to the local ones and you will be suprised at the savings and quality of tuition provided.
