Oct 31,2022Shrewsbury Omega Wooden Gate & Ironmongery pack. The ability to order the exact width and height meant it could be fitted without any adjustment. The framework joints were perfect fits and the smoothness of the finished gate was perfect. Delivery was sooner than originally stated which was also a benefit. The gate furniture was also of a good quality only let down by the poorly finished bolts that hold the hinge in place, easily rectified with a coat of hammerite paint. Once fitted the gate feels solid and swings easily on the hinges.

Though the website gave great ideas I still needed help to determine exact measurements and their tekephinecadvice was first class. The order was made and an estimated delivery time of 8 weeks was given and that was met almost to the day - actual delivery was precisely as stated and efficiently and courteously handled throughout. Easily installed and it looks magnificent and th3 envy of many neighbours. Thank you Wortley.

Oct 28,2022External gates, absolutely perfect from Wortleybrothers. Excellent service everything done by the date stated on the day of order and everything done to assist your delivery. I had no problems at all. The only problem that I had was I did not see the section on wood treatment, but that was my fault.

The way they are braced , it looks extremely unlikely they will twist in time, unlike our last gates from a different manufacturer. They were delivered on the date given. Very happy with the product and service. Would certainly recommend wortley brothers.

The quality of my gate is second to none, I ordered Softwood option and pre-treated myself. Everyone comments what a great gate it is. My ordered sizes was spot on to the millimetre.

Oct 27,2022the website was very helpful in crystallising what sort of gate I should have, and the guidance re measurements were ideal. Although I was warned that I would be needed to assist in unloading/carrying the gate (which is really very heavy!) it was delivered to the house without fuss. The gate has a solidity that is very reassuring - it will outlast the house (and the grandchildren, which is, of course, why we got it) and my wife is delighted.

Oct 27,2022I have now taken delivery of 2 sets of wooden gates. I was recommended to try Wortley Brothers a couple of years ago by a local person I use to erect/replace fences, posts, gates etc. It is just a brilliant company to deal with. The website is easy to understand and navigate, there is a good selection and numerous options; again all easy to understand. Both sets of gates are extremely well made and for me represent great VFM. I had to supply dimensions and both sets fit perfectly. I was given a delivery date and approximate time, the last time happened to be on a Sunday morning, and the gates duly arrived on the day and at the time given. It is an excellent company to deal with and I have recommended them to a number of people I know.
