Jun 02,2021I ordered my 4 metre wide 5 bar gates and 200mm posts etc back in early March with a delivery promise for the end of May. And thats exactly when everything arrived. The quality looks good and everything that I ordered came all present and correct. I am having them installed in 3 days time. I found making this purchase from Wortley Bros a fairly straightforward process with everything I needed rwady and available on their website.

Jun 02,2021Ordered a Shrewsbury bow wooden gate on line which was a breeze, and just sat back and waited for the gate to arrive, Allowing for the pandemic I didn’t think it was a particularly long wait time, the gate arrived on the date that had been set, the driver was brilliant and left the gate at the back of the property as we were unable to be there at the delivery time, The gate is constructed to the highest standard with no hard square edges everything has been rounded over all joints are glued and pegged, The Galvanised single ironmongery pack was ordered at the same time which has proved more than strong enough for these substantial gates, they are made from high quality timber, no cheap timber used. please pass on my sincere thank’s to your craftsman!! May 28,2021Absolutely fantastic service. Can't really fault it at all. Slightly long lead times, but that's to be expected during a pandemic. They gave me a guide delivery date when I ordered the gates, and they arrived at 0630 on the exact day. Havnt hung them yet, but they look like really great quality! Highly recommend

It is very solid, made from good quality wood. Would definitely recommend these wooden gates. Quality of the metal hinges, they look high quality and very robustly made.

May 26,2021Although we had to wait several weeks for our gate, it was well worth waiting for. The quality of the wood and attention to detail in the construction of the gate ie shaped internal corners make it worth every penny. A gate that is smart and robust and has plenty of style. We look forward to many years of using it to walk through to the fields. We would strongly recommend Wortley Brothers wooden gates.

May 22,2021BEWARE! Our gates were bought through a third party from these guys. Iroko wood gates, one gate warped within 8 months. Been fighting for over a year to get replaced and just being completely ignored.

May 21,2021As a time -served Patternmaker I recognise a Quality made gate when I see one.The gates I received were extremely well made and delivered on time.The timber used in my case was a Good Quality Soft wood with a minimum amount of Knots.Overall I was well pleased with the Product and the courteous assistance I received during the ordering process.
