May 10,2022From the time we ordered the gates (and they gave explicit instructions on measuring accurately) to the time we received them, we were kept updated. The gates were actually completed earlier than the expected delivery date and communications were thorough. The gates themselves are absolutely gorgeous. The wood is of a very good quality and heavy. The carpenter who fitted them for us said he hadn't seen such a fine pair of gates in the longest time and he has been in the trade for over 40 years. He has already asked if he could send someone round to view them. We have had many comments on them and are so very pleasd with them You get what you pay for and these gates are worth every penny.

Apr 30,2022Wortley Website was easy to navigate and I placed an order for 3 gates. Order leadtime / Delivery date was communicated by email which was very helpful. I ordered in the Winter, delivered to Hampshire in February and installed over Easter holidays. They look great and are robust. They weigh about 30kg so as a novice carpenter I purchased some galvanised adjustable hinges from my local merchants which were perfect. I took the option on paint finish and will also consider a further waterproof coat in the Autumn to maintain the integrity and beauty of my new gates. I never realised how dry, brittle and grey my old gates had become until I lifted them off the posts....certainly worth the investment!

The gates are perfect very well made indeed .we sent our measurements and everything was perfect. We are very happy and would definitely use again and will be recommending this company to friends and family thank you very much.

Apr 09,2022When the order was placed we were informed that it would be a long lead time approx 2 months but it arrived much sooner. The gate was exactly what was ordered, excellent quality wood with good quality components ie hinges, locks etc. The overall impact to the appearance and security of the house is a great improvement, excellent purchase.

I found the website to be very helpful in calculating the size I needed and all the additional items I required. Once the gate arrived I was really pleased with the quality and installed with no issues. Thanks guys

Apr 08,2022gate is very high quality, and after help from wortley brothers on the best size and posts size it is a perfect fit thank you , the only problem was I didn't realise when ordering I had to choose a finish , so it arrived as bare wood ! I wish someone had asked me with a quick call which finish I would like . but problem resolved after I phoned , then I was sent Free bottle of stain , thank you, which I managed to give two coats before the carpenter arrived to fit , not easy for me to manage at 79,

Apr 08,2022We were disgusted with your delivery service you have never yet told us where you delivered our gate. We spoke within 5 minutes of you leaving the area where we live as we saw your van. Our gardener was at our house and you never delivered to us. You said you would speak to your driver— no response Then rang your office and was told you would get back to us — you never did.
