Ordered a Nilfisk extension tube, confirmed in order receipt email. Later received a despatch email telling me they're sending me a padlock instead, tried to find phone number to ask them to sort their mess out but there isn't on on their site!

Good price, however...first they tried to deliver the item on the wrong day; we experienced problems when trying to reschedule. The item arrived with a damaged part and a few bits missing. I reported this straight away on 16th July. To date (6th Sept) I have only received one of the missing items. They sent a replacement for the damaged part but this was in far worse condition than the original. I contact them regularly for an update but, after almost TWO MONTHS of waiting, I am still being told by their Customer Services Manager that the matter is in hand, however they "are experiencing a large volume of email enquiries". For info, this is with a £250 item.

There was a slight delay with the availability of the products I bought, but I was promptly informed of this and given the possibility to cancel my order, which I did not. They kept me informed by email at all stages and provided me with tracking information about the parcel. All went very smoothly.

... only to find it's a boring "they did what it says on the tin" comment. Decent service and speed. Expecting a pain in the arse delivery from one of those couriers that didn't have the sense to leave a parcel with the neighbours when the first delivery failed, but was thankfully proved wrong. Much appreciated that I didn't have to give my Saturday morning up to collect this.

ITEMS AS ORDERED. ONE DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. MAIL SENT, REPLY IN LESS THEN 24HRS. NEW EXCHANGE ITEM SENT & DAMAGED ONE COLLECT AT THE SAME TIME. PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE. PRICE OF ITEMS BROUGHT WAS BEST DEAL ON THE NET. THE ONLY ITEM I DID NOT ORDER FROM TOOLBOX AS FOUND CHEAPER, TURNED OUT TO BE A NIGHTMARE. FIRST CLASS SERVICE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK :-)

Spent more than I would want, but shears from cheap outlets usually fail and give me blisters. The Draper shears are a better handle to use, more comfortable. Plastic mounting could be stronger.

I recently purchased a 5kw wood burning stove from toolbox.co.uk. The service was excellent with the product delivered promptly. I would recommend purchases from toolbox and wouold use them again :)
