Feb 08,2024I wanted to buy more British made workwear, of equivalent quality to my ten year-old Yarmo smock- and the forty year-old one, owned by my wife. I returned to the source! Top quality fabrics and manufacture, rapid delivery.....what's not to like? I bought a spare smock, (it fits us both) an engineer's jacket, like the one I wore in the machine shop, in 1973 and a great, over-the-head style work shirt- the exact replica of a couple that I lost, during a chaotic house move, in 1982. I always imagine that the quality of fabric will become harder for Yarmo to source, over time but this has yet to transpire. My new garments have all the rugged durability that attracted me to their (now vintage) predecessors, in the first place. Thank you all, for fulfilling my order, so rapidly. I was wearing the new smock, at my woodwork bench, this morning.

Jan 12,2024Purchased for Xmas a replacement sailcloth smock XL size, to replace my late Dad's Yarmo smock purchased in 1983 and still giving me good service, albeit a bit faded and grubby, with one sleeve shorter than the other. However, I still consider it perfectly serviceable for all those gardening, outdoor, decorating, and motorcycle maintenance jobs. A quality garmet, as is the new smock, thank you.

Jan 02,2024This is my second yarmo smock, the first is six years old, still usable and used but stained so this second is for use when I want to be less scruffy. I use them as overclothes around the house (to keep normal clothes clean when doing housework!), as well as a windproofing layer when I'm sailing. Extremely practical. I love them.
