Sherif Fahmy is, hands down, Egypt’s number-one tour director. With great pride, knowledge, and grace, he showed us how the greatest civilization in history left its mark. Feb 21,2024YMT cancelled our tour starting May 10 and gave us a different date to go of April 26. We are a group of 8 so when we tried to rebook to that date there was not enough room on it for all of us even though they told us there was. They told us we could go April 30 but it took them over a week to get us all confirmed on that date with phone calls every day sometimes 4 a day. I do want to say that Erin and Tiffany were both great at working with us and helpful it was just that there computers were not being updated with how many spaces were available on those dates. Also Julie their supervisor was helpful in getting the extra hotel rooms booked. They were very professional, it was just a stressful week and a half. The one star is for YMT not thinking through their cancellation of one tour and not having enough room on the tour they told us we could switch to April 26. They should have made sure there was enough room for 8 people on that tour along with any other people who had to switch.
