I live in Bolton, saw one of their wooden poles at the end of my road. i decided to give them a call to see what it was about and spoke to a lovely girl called Fiona. she managed to sort me a top deal on a connection. Really freindly service and actually nice to speak to someone for a change. Looking forward to getting it installed.
When I filled out my name, email and phone number on their website to see if it is in my area which it wasn't I then started getting calls from 6g and they told me I could still go with them but through a bt line, I'm already with VM at 250mb and not prepared to go on a bt line and only get 7mb, I have since found out 6g is now in my area but after reading all the horror stories about this company and their extortionate exit fees I have decided to stay with VM and pay their high monthly price until openreach bring full fibre to my home and hopefully get a cheaper deal than VM
Excellent fitted my new 6G Works great 10 out of 10 to the fitters
Been having a bit of trouble with my internet since I have got it but 6g sent a new router out and today Almar one of the people on customer service is amazing and very helpful I went through every step with us and made sure we was up and running before he went off the phone so very pleased with todays service.. Let's hope my internet stays on now
Had my 6g fitted this week and I could not be more happy. The fitters Jordan and Kasim were fantastic, a great laugh and very polite. Jordan explained everything in great detail while Kasim froze on the roof fitting the reciever 🤣. Both are a credit to 6g, great guys great company.
6G Internet, for our house and the area it was located in we had a really bad experience sadly as the internet was very temporary in terms that it used to go up and down a lot, sadly when ever we used to ring we never got the response we wanted and we asked them that if we could leave and they told us a hideous price of ÂŁ350 cancellation fee while knowing the difficulty we were having, but very fortunate for us a very kind, polite and patient 6G colleague by the name of Omar helped us out a lot, Omar found that there really was a problem with our internet and raised it with the managers which then the managers did try and offer us a new router which again was not working for us. Omar really went out of his way to have a look at our setup and why the internet was the way it is and once he was able to see the issue Omar talked to the managers and got us to leave this company for free of charge. Thank you Omar and thank you 6G Internet for the time we have been with you.
My only issue with 6G is the reliability of download speeds, and bad weather causing dips occasionally. Other than that, the customer service is outstanding (when office is open), real people in the UK, no outsourced call centres with phony agents. Any people giving poor reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt. They're no Virgin or Sky, intent on global domination, they're a team of PEOPLE, delivering a great service and when any issues arise, they are quick to fix things
Unfortunately had a really poor experience. Signed up for 100mb as the website said I was eligible. Then was called a few days later to say it wasn't available in my area yet but was offered a good deal on openreach. Accepted this deal but was told it couldn't be actioned because there was a technical fault with their terms and conditions and I would be called later that day to sort it. Didn't get a call. Rang back a few days later to check the status and no action had been taken on my account to start the process of setting up openreach so I again requested this and was promised it was now being actioned and I'd receive a call in a couple of days to arrange installation. No call 5 days later so I called again only to be told that no action had been taken on my account and there was no record I wanted openreach. I've had to cancel, ring my old provider and tell them I'm no longer leaving them.
Brilliant service.been with 6gi since they started
Very quick, polite and friendly
They are very honest and professional about thier services
Happy with the service I received
Great service sorted quickly and made sure I knew what I needed to :)
Although there seems to be a connection problem at the moment the tech and support team are trying every possible avenue to fix it, good response
Awful company took govt money to increase broadband in areas with poor coverage then installed old technology poles and wires with no regard to people's homes, green spaces etc, and their speeds are far lower than other suppliers have already have in same area. Scam company just taking gigabit upgrade funding and providing nothing like that.
Very helpful service agent and friendly to talk to ..in fact one of the most helpful agents I've spoken to
BEWARE A lot of these 5 star reviews don’t add up, people mentioning problems with obtaining internet and the installation taking hours and problems with the roof and yet all give top marks, interesting all name the installers by their first names as if they’ve be coerced into writing a review about them. I wouldn’t trust this company who have been making donations to MPs helping them to bypass planning and consultation with neighbourhoods to see if their ugly poles and masts are needed or wanted. Dreadful false advertising to call themselves 6G and IX “wireless” hoodwinking people into thinking they can provide better and faster internet than our current providers who use underground cables.
It starts with their name ... why would an internet company call themselves "6G" when 6G doesn't exist - other than to deceive potential customers? Then, there's blighting residential areas with masses of entirely unnecessary and unwanted infrastructure. Then, there's the product on sale. What sort of company would have hundreds of fake 5* reviews on Trustpilot? Why do they claim that overhead wires are faster than underground (stated on ITV news and in writing in many newspapers) when this is entirely untrue ... and, in fact, their network simply defines a more unreliable provision than other providers? The list of red flags here is endless ... here's another question: why would such a large company use a FAKE ADDRESS (that returns mail to sender) for all objections to their infrastructure activities? That is the address that they have been, and still are, providing on their unwanted poles and masts. The fake address has been verified on Sky TV as simply an empty building
Disgraceful company. Even the name is 6g internet is designed to be misleading as there is no such thing as 6G internet. They are putting up poles and masts in totally unsuitable areas, where the residents have it made it clear they are not wanted or needed. They are being investigated by several TV news channels and local newspapers. Stay away from this disgusting company, and stick with an established broadband supplier.

Mar 17,2023I'm not yet sold Sorry Contributing a review based on what I have seen so far. The infrastructure that has been put up in many built up areas now for 6G service looks huge and certainly where I live looks more akin to industrial size masts towering way above the height of houses. This concerns me for how it makes the area I live in now look which I know is not the fault of staff at 6g selling 6G or customer service teams etc. Just is why I will in this instance choose to remain with the already good Internet services we already have using underground wires as the infrastructures feels far less invasive to the eye.
