Jul 09,2021We have had a hen do booked for two years and had to utilise the services of Molly a number of time to discuss changes that were required due to covid. She was very helpful. Despite the fact that our hen party could not eventually go ahead due to restrictions, Duncan worked very hard with me to find alternatives and make ammendments to help. Sadly it wasn't meant to be but I will be sure to use the company again in the future for any events.

Jun 29,2021Acacia helped plan and arrange my daughter’s hen weekend. Due to covid and restrictions this was not an easy task. However Becca and her team really supported me through it! What a weekend we all had from the fantastic accommodation in a beautiful rural setting with hot tub and all mod cons, through to our planned fun activities. The properties were clean, spacious and modern. Hot tub was a gorgeous plus. We had several activities from a private chef on the Friday, spa treatments Saturday morning, afternoon tea and then gin tasting Saturday afternoon. We had time to sit in the hot tub chilling and chatting between events. Everyone turned up right on time and delivered to a v high standard. This really took the stress out of the weekend. The weather was gorgeous too which always helps. I can’t recommend acacia enough it was the most perfect weekend and we were all reluctant to go home!! thank you all 😊

May 06,2021Very good customer service, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Flexible service, we had to move the hen do due to covid 19 restrictions and lockdown rules. Eventually we had to cancel the hen do plans altogether due to covid 19. However we would definitely use Acacia Cottages again in the future for hen do's and other events.

Apr 18,2021When we were looking to book a special weekend for my sisters hen do, we were so glad to have found Acacia cottages. The website is easy to navigate and after we had sent the enquiry, the staff could not have been more helpful. We weren’t sure of numbers at first, so Becca built in some flexibility. Once we booked, we made use of the payment system which made getting everyone to pay up much easier - tricky with a big group! However, the pandemic hit. Becca was so helpful with ensuring we could move the weekend, so we continued to look forward to it for the best part of the year. Unfortunately, the property we had booked was then put in the market by the owner and we eventually had to opt for a refund, as there were no similar properties available in the area on the weekend we needed. This is the only reason I cant quite stretch to that 5th star! Everyone and their grandad needs a UK break this year! The process of getting the refund was simple and completed without any fuss.

Apr 01,2021The team were really great to deal with, helping me organise my sisters hen do. Sadly it can’t go ahead because of covid but they were great throughout the refund and communicated well. The refund payment could’ve been quicker but I imagine they have a lot to process at this time. Would recommend them and would book again.

Mar 18,2021I booked a hen do back in Oct/Nov 2020 with the hope that it could go ahead this year. Susie was great in answering any questions I had and with getting everything booked in activities wise. It then handed over to Becca who had the unfortunate job of dealing with all the changes requested and for answering all my covid related concerns. Unfortunately the hen do was scheduled for early June so we knew early on that it couldn't go ahead. Becca gave me plenty of options in terms of rescheduling, changing the booking to a group of 6 or cancelling. She stayed in constant communication and kept me in the loop with regards to what the property owner had to say. I was refunded the extra money that was paid over the deposit, and received £250 back out of the £500 deposit. To me this was a great outcome as booking during covid was a risk to take! I would definitely recommend booking with Acacia and would definitely look to book with then again in future!

Mar 01,2021Unfortunately due to covid I had to cancel my hen due. However even though we didn't make it to the cottages the staff were so helpful and reassuring during these difficult times. Every email i sent they got back to me quickly and the payment system online made things a lot easier. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend and they even gave a me a voucher to use as I wasn't able to get my deposit back. So a good experience from me.

Mar 01,2021I would highly recommend Acacia Cottages for your hen do needs. Their customer service is excellent and were always willing to answer any questions etc. Unfortunately our hen do was cancelled due to Covid, but refund was sorted quickly with no hassle at all. I won't hesitate to use them again when we rebook.

Feb 28,2021Molly and Duncan were so helpful throughout the whole booking experience, from the initial enquiries, finally booking, adding on extras and taking payments it was all such a smooth process. Unfortunately due to covid the original hen date was cancelled and had to be moved to 2021, as soon as this announcement was made we were promptly provided with various other dates in which to reschedule, they eliminated all stresses that may have come with this situation. Due to current restrictions we unfortunately were forced to either cancel the rescheduled date or re book for another weekend. Our initial property wasn't available but we were swiftly sent plenty of other options to consider (none of which would have involved us paying more money). Unfortunately due to the dates of the wedding and availability, to reschedule just wasn't an option. After discussing this, Duncan and Molly were so helpful in organising a prompt and generous refund. Should we need to book another event again I would 100% recommend Acacia, they have gone above and beyond during our experience in booking with them and eliminated a lot of stress that the last year has unfortunately forced on everyone! Feb 23,2021We have paid in full for a hen do package. Full payment was received a year ago. Unfortunately due to government restrictions the original date was moved and again the new date can’t happen due to government restrictions so we are having to cancel. This company are now refusing to refund all the money paid. No goods or services were provided and under the CMA / government guidelines we are entitled to a refund. We will be seeking advise from an ADR in order to resolve. But at a time when everyone is struggling, companies like this should not be holding on to the public’s money. I would definitely avoid using them in the future.

Jan 22,2021Unfortunately we couldn’t go on our weekend booked with Acacia cottages due to the current lockdown. But the service was still amazing from the moment to we started looking and making enquiries. Becca dealt with our booking and nothing was too much for her. We had a large group booking so lots of changes along the way, Becca was fab and very responsive to what we needed and any questions we had. She helped us and supported us when it came to needing to cancel due to lockdown. I would definitely recommend and we will look at booking again hopefully in the near future!

Jul 15,2021Although our hen do did not end up going ahead due to Covid, Acacia cottages were so professional, organised and helped us plan an amazing hen do. It felt easy and well handled and as the organiser of the hen do this made my job so much easier. Thanks so much Molly for answering all my questions and being so flexible with our requests when I had got the group numbers wrong and also when we had to change location.
