Jul 04,2020Unfortunately I could not have the hen party I planned due to Covid. However Acacia Cottages have been amazing from start to finish handling our booking. I could not fault the customer service that I received. I would definitely book with them in the future.

Jun 18,2020We have booked a Hen Party for July of this year . Obviously as a result of the Corona Virus this has had to be cancelled as many many have . This company have been at best vague at worst very in helpful when trying to re- arrange this event . A lot of money has been paid to this company and all we wish for is an alternative date . Every other aspect of the wedding has been sorted.... why can’t they ?

Jun 14,2020We have a booking in July 2020 that we wish to change to a date next year given that the wedding has been moved to 2021. We have not asked for a refund, only to amend to a date next year, however the company are refusing to let us do this and say we must wait for the next government guidance. We have repeatedly asked to amend the date as due to the varied make up of the group it will not be possible for us all to attend in July, but so far we have hit a brick wall. This is so upsetting for us all in these uncertain times. The company has our money and we may face a situation where we lose it all and don’t have a hen do at all.

Apr 02,2020This company is absolutely disgusting... we booked our hen do for my sister over 14 months ago. My sister has had an awful time with her wedding having it cancelled once previously and now again due the coronavirus. All we wanted to do was give her the best do we could! My sister has re arranged her wedding for this August, therefore we need the hen do before then. This company will not give us a refund and instead have offered to reschedule from September. I understand this is a terrible time for everyone but we did not cancel the hen do, the company did due to government guidelines. I am sure you will be getting help from the government, the least you could do is refund the money so we can give my sister the hen do she deserves after everything. I am so applaud by this!!!

Mar 23,2020Given current circumstances out of people’s control, this company have decided to keep deposits from cancelled holidays despite cancellation reasons being that of government guidelines. In addition to this, I have just read the government are considering fines on those who break the governments advice against non-essential travel.

Mar 23,2020As a group of friends we have been looking forward to a weekend away, With recent events and guidance we have decided we are going to be with our families, we have been advised we are unable to gain a refund and we too can be only offered a midweek break. This is not good enough!!

Mar 20,2020In these trying times, having booked for 25 hens to share a house, and according to the 2 metre social distancing recommendation, it is looking very likely that we will not be able to celebrate as hoped. However, the company say they cannot offer any kind of refund on the £4500 paid to them, and have suggested re booking for a midweek slot in November/December!! Most people will not be able to take time off then as they will have had enforced time off due to this virus. Not impressed.

Mar 12,2020We definitely made the right choice booking the 5 star cottage in the peak district for my friends Hen party. Everything was so easy through the booking stage and everything ran smoothly. The companies used for the activities (school sports day and massages) were fantastic, fun but professional. The cottage itself was amazing super clean and really well stocked with everything you could think of. Even the stars came out for a spot of star gazing from the hot tub. I would definitely recommend booking. Thanks Jemma. X

Mar 11,2020I stayed in chew manga farmhouse and spa with 16 hens. The house was beautiful lots to look at and something new caught my eye every day. The spa area was very clean and we'll maintained and the house was spotless. Easily accommodating all of us at ease. The whole weekend ran so smooth due to booking taxis and activities all in one place. Jemma my co ordinator was great and kept me up date with everything. We cannot wait to book again. I would 100% recommend acacia & chew magna farmhouse and spa.

Mar 11,2020Arranging my best friend's hen do with Acacia Cottages was so easy - the team are so friendly and helpful (thank you Karen and Jemma!), making the whole process from getting quotes to final booking stress-free. It was easy to find accomodation to suit all 17 of us, and adding on a range of activities was really straightforward. All the guests and the bride-to-be thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at Streamside in Bath and commented on how well organised the weekend was - the cocktail masterclass was a definite highlight! I would 100% recommend Acacia Cottages for anyone planning a hen do or weekend away!

Mar 03,2020We had the absolute best time for my sister’s hen do in the Georgian House in Bath. The house was perfect - luxurious, spacious and so fit for purpose for a big group, with loads of bathrooms and a kitchen and living room both big enough to seat all 18 at once. Tosh’s cocktail masterclass couldn’t have been more perfect - he was such great fun and the cocktails were delicious. Would 100% recommend to anyone!!

Feb 25,2020The Dales Cottages with hot tub were absolutely fantastic! The whole hen party could not fault these beautiful homes to stay in! They were so spacious, plenty of bathrooms and mirrors to get ready. The grounds and views were also beautiful! The organisation of the weekend was superb, I had excellent communication with Jemma who helped ensure everything ran smoothly!

Feb 14,2020We had a wonderful weekend at the Barn and Cottages in the Peak District for my daughter's hen weekend. All of the properties were all very clean and well equiped. We had a life drawing activity in the afternoon and in the evening we had our own chef to cook a wonderful meal for 22 people. All of this was booked through Acacia Cottages. Everything was very well organised, Jemma from the company was very helpful and very quick with replies to us. Thank you for helping to make the weekend special for my daughter.

The cottage was beautiful, clean and spacious! Activities organised were great. All email communications were friendly, helpful, patient and polite. I'm glad we found you!

Oct 06,2020I Used Acacia Cottages for my Hen do, Unfortunately due to circumstance it was postponed and then had to be cancelled. Acacia cottages were extremely accommodating and understanding to my situation, They answered every question and always got back to me quickly. Great customer service throughout. I would highly recommend to anyone.
