Jun 27,2019We booked the farmhouse and spa in Magna Chew through Acacia Cottages for a hen weekend. I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the start, the staff at Acacia Cottages were really helpful and informative, helping us create a package weekend for a hen group, including the farmhouse (with spa and treatments), West Country game tickets and taxis to and from Bristol. Becca at Acacia was always at the end of an email and was a delight to work with. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family and may even look at some of their other properties for future trips. The house we stayed in was perfect for our needs, it was about 30minutes outside of Bristol, and was a typical quirky cottage, with a beautiful English garden and wonky floors. The hosts provided fresh eggs and locally sourced breakfast items and were only next door if we needed anything. The pool house was across the courtyard and was very modern and clean, with a sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool and treatment rooms. Great house for a group and super company to book through.

Jun 12,2019Somerset Stone Farmhouse was an excellent setting for our Hen Weekend. The property was well equipped and all the rooms were comfortable. We would like to thank Acacia Cottages for organising a brilliant weekend, with the Charleston Dancing being the highlight. Our instructor Kirsty was so lovely, giving us plenty of instructions and encouragement throughout the whole dance routine. She was very patient and made us all feel like we really achieved. We laughed a lot. The private Chef was also very good, producing a beautiful three course dinner. Thank you, we had an awesome weekend!

Jun 06,2019I arranged a hen do at Cedar House and cottages in Kent and we had a wonderful time. This is the second hen do I have arranged with Acacia cottages and they are fantastic to work with. They take all the hard work out of the organisation and the properties are always as expected. I found the company really helpful to work with and the hen do ran really smoothly. I highly recommend Acacia cottages as a company.

Jun 03,2019The hen weekend itself was brilliant, the house was lovely and big and clean, HOWEVER this has been spoilt by the owners trying to keep our deposit for something our party didn't do. There is apparently a small burn mark on the carpet in an area of the house which none of our party used. So far the owners have only provided a photo of the mark but no proof that this mark wasn't there prior to our arrival. They are now withholding the deposit with no proof that our party left this mark. This has ruined our view of the whole weekend. I will be making sure this is taken further should proof not be provided or deposit returned.

Jun 03,2019Jemma and Nicky have been fantastic. They have made the organising process go as smoothly as possible and have always been on hand if any support has been needed. The packages you can design for your weekend are brilliant and it makes it possible to tailor the perfect itinerary for everyone attending. The Smith’s house was beautiful! Cocktail making was great fun and the beauty treatments were fantastic. I would definitely book through Acacia Cottages again.

May 31,2019We had a lovely weekend away for a hen do, booking with Acacia, with 2 cottages in Somerset! Everything went smoothly and we loved the activities including cocktail making class and escape rooms. Cocktail class leader was a great laugh and kicked the weekend off! Taxi to Bristol was very convenient and the weekend went exactly as planned! Staff emailing from Acacia were very friendly and helpful when booking, would definately recommend!

May 23,2019We had a great time on our weekend away with Acacia Cottages. Right from the start, the service I received from Karen was friendly and informative. She was very helpful with all the enquiries that I made, and was accommodating whenever changes were required. Jemma was great for the actual planning of the weekend including our chosen activities of wine tasting and private chef dinner, and made sure that I had all the information I needed to ensure our sten weekend went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend them for any weekend away for a large group and would happily book with them again!

May 23,2019We had a wonderful hen weekend in the Dales Cottages with a dinner party and spa treatments organised by Acacia which was the perfect formula. The house was beautiful and so versatile with three separate houses that we used for different purposes: one for dining, one for tranquil spa treatments and one for the main party. All this in a gorgeous rural setting and with all the facilities we could ask for. We were sad to leave our luxurious home from home but I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!

May 16,2019We had the most fantastic Hen Weekend in May! As we were 12 ladies, we almost all had our own room and the property "Log Fires & Friends" was perfectly suited to our group. It is much bigger in person and the garden was ideal for an afternoon of games. Acacia Cottages arranged punting on the river for us. It was really good fun for the whole group - though if you are used to rowing/canoeing/kayaking it might be slightly too tame. We then followed Acacia Cottages advice and booked lunch nearby in a lovely riverside restaurant. We also had canapes arranged which were delicious! A selection of cold and hot canapes (which we warmed up ourselves) and they were labelled with all the ingredients which is important for us - a few fussy eaters. The whole experience was very easy and dealing with Acacia Cottages was a treat! Would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again in the future for hen/group weekends.

May 12,2019We had a fabulous weekend. The communication from yourselves was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The spa facilities at the cottage were great and we were lucky to have a lovely sunny day on the Saturday so could have been anywhere in the world sitting in the sun trap at the pool, and also in the garden of the property itself which is stunning. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and more and the food provided went down a treat! The ladies who did our massages were so professional and everyone commented on how wonderful they felt after their treatments! Special shoutout to Nigel for the cocktail making class who really went down a storm and everyone had so much fun! Got the party going on the Saturday night for sure! Finally our meal served in house was also lovely it was a nice relaxing end to a lovely weekend. Thank you so much for all your help in organising the hen had a ball as did all her chicks!!

May 09,2019Becca Tilling helped me organised an amazing hen party weekend at the Stone Farmhouse, Pool & Hot Tub. She was really helpful and ensured everything we needed was taken care of quickly and professionally. The package we had was really good - the beauty treatments were incredible and the three course dinner cooked by two lovely ladies was so tasty and everyone loved it. The cottage itself was absolutely huge and amazing inside- so clean and so much stuff to help us have the best weekend. The pool and hot tub were amazing too. I'd recommend Acacia Cottages and the Farmhouse to anyone looking to book a hen party for a large group. In addition the area and views were beautiful! About 30 minutes by taxi into Bristol, and there are ubers available in the area too. The Bride to be loved it and was the best weekend to send her off into married life!

Jun 27,2019We had an amazing stay for a hen do at the cedar houses and cottages. From start to finish everything was perfect. Jemma and everyone we dealt with at Acacia cottages could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were kept informed as to everything we could expect for the whole weekend and I really could not recommend them enough. It was such a friendly and professional experience. The accommodation itself was amazing even better than we expected and the 3 course dinner we had in the package was great aswell, again with really friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone, wish we could do it all over again!
