Aug 09,2018I recently booked a hen weekend through Gemma at Acacia cottages and what a pleasure it was from start to finish! Gemma (and everyone else I dealt with) were incredibly helpful throughout. Myself and all of the hens loved our Barn conversion, as well as all of the activities we booked through them. If you want a fabulous property, a range of great activities and well-informed and helpful staff then this is the company for you. Thanks again!

Aug 09,2018I stayed in Oxford Retreat AB for my friends hen do with 14 girls for a long weekend in July. We had a fantastic time and the place was perfecta Although unfortunately it was too hot to use the hot tub, a pool in the garden would be ideal in hot weather! Acacia cottages made the booking process straightforward and were really helpful in booking extra activities. The online payment system allowed other people to manage their money and took the responsibility off myself which was great. Would definitely use them again and revisit!

Aug 07,2018We stayed at the bath barns and it was beautiful!! Such a lovely quiet setting and lots of space for all. The owners were also kind enough to return some belongings we left!! Highly recommend this place !

Aug 03,2018Had regular contact with Acacia Cottages and they answered any questions that I had during the run up to the hen weekend. They were great at arranging the activities and offering different packages for us. Really organised and sent through an itinerary for the weekend with the information that we needed. The owner of the house we stayed in was a star as we travelled on the day York station got hit by lightening and all trains were cancelled, took us 8 hours from Nottingham and she kindly stayed at the house to wait for our online shop to be delivered. The Georgian House was amazing, everyone was amazed by the size, décor and the location being so close to York. Was much better than getting hotel rooms as everyone gathered in the kitchen or living room so was really social as there was plenty of space for all 12 of us. I would definitely book again through Acacia Cottages again in the future and really pleased I found them online :-)

Aug 03,201815 of us stayed at the Streamside Cottages near Bath. The accommodation was fantastic and really worked for such a large group. Everywhere was clean and tidy so cannot ask for more. We found chilling out in the accommodation fantastic as being such a large group from different parts of friendship circles easy to get along with one another. The girls at Acacia Cottages who organised the weekend for me were fantastic and have made a daunting task of booking the hen do effortlessly simple. I would thoroughly recommend Streamside and Acacia Cottages to anyone booking a large group event.

Jul 25,2018We had this cottage for a hen do and it was absolutely the perfect place. The location is wonderful and so peaceful. The facilities also couldn’t be faulted. Dot, the lady on site is so nice and helpful and anything we needed during the weekend she was on hand to help us.

The house we stayed in was perfect for what we wanted, it was clean, spacious and had a lovely outdoor area and hot tub. The private chef was brilliant, he left the kitchen cleaner than it was when he arrived which was lovely, and the food was delicious. The 80's dance class and the beauty treatments all of which we booked as part of our package were great and enjoyed by all! They accomidated us even when plans changed with number etc. Jemma who looked after our booking was amazing and took so much pressure off organising all the elements bit by bit. Have already and would continue to recommend Acacia cottages all day long. The house was perfect for our party the owners were amazing and they had put a host of little extras in that made our stay even easier.

Jul 11,2018We went to the Oxford Manor Farmhouse for my sisters hen do. There was 18 of us and it couldn't have been more perfect. The journey from booking and dealing with Gemma to getting to the house and there was milk and biscuits left, the beautiful house, towels on the bed, extremely clean and well kept. It couldn't have been more perfect, my sister had the best weekend and I couldn't have done it without this beautiful location. Thankyou and I will definitely be recommending Acacia to all of my friends.

Jul 09,2018Great experience using Acacia Cottages would definitely use again. We used the Log Fire and Friends accommodation for a group of 24 people for a hen party. The cottage was so lovely - plenty of space and great garden which was perfect the amazing weather we were lucky enough to have. I dealt with Jemma who was quick to get back to any queries and I got a full confirmation complete with all numbers needed for the weekend. We booked 3 activities; private chef who was fab yummy dinner and barely knew they were there. Also cleaned up everything! We booked a Butler in the Buff who was called Andrew who was a hit! Plenty of laughs! We also did a Dirty Dancing dnace class which was great for a hen do with a range of ages. Thanks again to Acacia Cottages for all their help it making it a truly successful weekend - the Hen had an amazing time!

Jun 29,2018I booked Stone Farmhouse for my best friends hen party in June 18 which has to be one of the best weekends of my life. We were very lucky with the weather, so were able to make the most of the beautiful gardens, swimming pool and hot tubs! I booked punting as an extra which was a great laugh, and then had canapes served by a butler in the buff (alex) in the evening. He was utterly fantastic and made us all laugh for hours before getting a transfer to Bristol for a boogie. Acacia Cottages took all the stress off my hands by booking all of these activities and allowed me to focus on the bride and give her the weekend of her dreams, I cannot say thank you enough and would recommend them to any stressed maid of honor!

Jun 27,2018Very good communication via email and phonecall throughout the whole process- thanks to Jemma Hutchinson! Fantastic options and ideas available to book and happy to tailor it to our needs/requests. The Stone farmhouse at Butcome was PHENOMENAL, better than any of us were expecting. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were perfect with the lush weather we were lucky to have. All the transfers we booked were on time and the drivers extremely helpful. Overall a fantastic weekend for my sister Alice’s hen do, our charleston themed dance class was so much fun and might make an appearance at the wedding! Thank you so much, would definitely recommend, only downside was that we wanted to stay for longer!!
