Apr 24,2024I was in absolute agony with my shoulder. Having had an X-Ray on the NHS showing Calcific Tendinopathy, I was referred for an ultrasound guided injection with a wait of 16 weeks! At this time I was extremely distressed, on strong painkillers and unable to complete most day to day activities, couldn’t sleep at all, and was off work due to the pain. I just didn’t know what to do with myself. After a google to find somewhere local, I reached out to Advanced Physio Solutions to ask about the possibility of getting the procedure done with them. Peter got back in touch very promptly, and within the hour I had received all the information I needed and was booked in for the very next day. Day of Appointment: I arrived at the clinic and was shown into the treatment room. Peter was very reassuring and thorough. Medical history was taken and a full examination took place including an ultrasound scan. Peter took the time to show me everything in my “good” shoulder to compare with my “bad” shoulder. Peter then advised what options were available to me and what treatment options he would suggest based on the extent of my condition. I decided to go ahead with a Barbotage procedure, followed by the ultrasound guided injection, as recommended. Peter prepared the room and ensured I was comfortable before starting the procedure. Whilst the procedure was underway I started to feel quite uncomfortable. This was absolutely no trouble for Peter and he was happy to stop the procedure and rearrange the room again so that I was able to lay down for the procedure. Once the procedure was complete, and the steroid injection administered, Peter spoke to me about expected outcome and what to expect straight after and days/weeks to follow. He was more than happy to answer any questions I had. The clinic was very clean and comfortable, the procedure was completed with my safety at the forefront and sterile/aseptic technique was used. Peter remained professional throughout, and I felt safe at all times. A week on, and although not pain free completely, (which was 100% expected due to my condition) I am like a new woman. I feel so much happier and my symptoms are definitely improved! The pain has improved so much and I feel like I am starting to get my life back! It’s a long road but I’m so glad I started my journey back to health with Advanced Physio Solutions. So thankful I was seen so quickly and will not have to suffer waiting 16 weeks on the NHS! Thank you so much to APS for providing options at an affordable price. Would 100% recommend and would 100% use again!

Apr 17,2024I went to advanced physio solutions suffering with a very sore knee. Paul monk was very professional and knowledgeable. My appointment lasted approximately 45 minutes ending with a steroid injection. I will know in a few days what the outcome will be however I would strongly recommend this company. Thank you

Mar 31,2024I saw Pete about my frozen shoulder . I had examination , ultrasound scan and a steroid injection . Everything was explained as he went along. My pain has improved enormously and I can now sleep at night. I can’t thank Pete enough and would definitely recommend if you are unable to wait for NHS treatment.

Feb 20,2024On arrival Peter made me feel very welcome. His examination of my shoulder was very thorough. After the ultrasound scan he explained everything clearly to me and showed me pictures of my shoulder. I decided to have the steroid injection that he suggested. I am now pain free and absolutely delighted that I chose Advanced Physio for my treatment. I can't thank Peter enough and would certainly recommend him for physio treatment.
