Jan 15,2025I got in touch with American Financing because they refinanced our house before several years ago. We were VERY upfront about specifically needing a bridge loan. We then carefully explained what we needed and why. He assured us he could help - ran our hard credit and then - long story short - tried to push us into a HELOC because they don't do bridge loans. After we VERY CAREFULLY told him our financial situation and why we needed this type of loan...he pushed our credit through, dinging it - then told us we'd have to come up with more money in another account if we wanted to buy. He said they didn't offer bridge loans and didn't know of anyone who does anymore. Which is TOTAL BS! I feel he high pressured us into running a hard credit check KNOWING we needed the bridge type of loan and didn't care. He was VERY misleading and sent me over paperwork and a "new loan payment" amount via text BEFORE even discussing anything with me! VERY MISLEADING AND WAY HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS! Buyer beware of David Clark.

Oct 30,2024They want me to show private banking information to a third party investor, the same party that bought my previous mortgage from Rocket mortgage. It seems that they want to see where the money went? Where else would it go? I'm paying interest to American Financing already, if the bank buying the mortgage wants to buy it go right ahead. I'm not the one selling it. Don't expect me to divulge personal checking account information to an institution that has already been reported to be hacked and their own customers information is stolen.

Sep 24,2024I originally heard about American Financing through an ad on one of my favorite online radio shows. I needed to tap into my home equity in order to start up a new home-based business, and Senior Mortgage Consultant David Smith was my first contact. Dave is, by far, the easiest, most positive and helpful financial agent I’ve ever encountered in my 35+ years as a property and home owner. His experience in the industry is comprehensive, but he’s also aware of the market in its larger context, as evidenced through numerous, enjoyable conversational calls. He's easy to contact and returns emails and calls. A few hitches (typical) arose during the process that made me anxious and fearful of failure, but Dave’s expertise and experience provided simple solutions that were easy to accomplish, and the loan went through smoothly and quickly. It was the easiest, most comfortable and affordable loan process I've ever been through. This is a really good company. The few other staff I spoke with there were also kind, courteous, and patient. This may be the best company of its kind in the country. I definitely think so.

There were others who assisted in answering phones and directing messages. I do not recall their names. Please thank them all. Cara and I were thrilled to reduce our interest rate and take advantage of the equity in our home to reduce our debt load. American Financing’s process was simple, smooth, and processed professionally and courteously by all concerned. David kept us well informed and was quick to respond to questions and concerns, finding the best ways to work the process and the numbers on our behalf, and for our benefit. Never did I ever feel as though American Financing was trying to take advantage of us, nor did I ever feel that they were working primarily for the company. I was directed to American Financing by an ad on the Candice Owens podcast. I was thrilled to learn that there was a mortgage company with integrity and with values that reflected my own. Feb 03,2024I worked with Katy Morris on my mortgage after I ran into issues with NVR, PenFed and SECU of Maryland. I have nothing negative to say about any of them or their requirements BUT American Financing Corporation can accommodate anyone looking for a mortgage. Katy and Cassie are extremely responsive. They kept me on track, provided updates, replied all times of the day and explained each step. If you're looking to get a mortgage, start with American Finance. Their work ethic alone will make you stick with them thru it all! And they're veteran friendly. I've recommended their mortgage services to everyone over the last 3 months. I hope everyone has an experience like I did!!!!

Jan 13,2024I’m writing for my wife. She applied and was given the initial disclosure documents, including even a plan of action that would help take us out of debt and create some cash flow. Two months later, she still not heard back? She contacted the corporate offices and they said that they would get in touch with the loan officer. Still no word it’s been over two months at this point of course, they do not want to move on with us but why not tell us this when they went ahead and checked her credit so with debt she needed to pay off Etc. the payment was not even going to be that much. We don’t even owe that much on our loan I don’t get it I’m sad because so many of our conservative radio hosts go on and on about how great they are and how, like Mark Levin mentioned American Financing Help them get out of a tough situation. That’s why my wife called them. So disappointing.

Jul 28,2023What a scam. Family owned? I done a refinance loan, and before my 1st payment they sell my loan to Chase Bank. What a Con. Crooked company. Vif I wanted a loan through Chase Bank, I would of went to Chase for the loan... SCAM

Jan 31,2023I had a horrible experience with American financing, i’m not one of those people that goes out and complains about everything in fact this is the first review I’ve ever written in my life American financing strung me along for eight months getting my hopes up just to be let down over and over at the last minute before closing I spent over $1000 getting my credit score to where they wanted it. Just to have them tell me something different every time right now I don’t even know if my file is still open because they won’t respond to my messages so the reason I’m writing this is so American financing can do a better job so nobody else has to go through this.
