Apr 26,2024Hele duidelijk gecommuniceerde procedure, alles digitaal. Dit jaar voor t eerst ipv de xcell, het webformulier. Ik vond deze erg traag. Verder heb ik doorgegeven dat Puerto Rico niet bij de landen staat in het webformulier, daar gheb ik geen feedback op ontvangen.

Apr 18,2024Ohne dieses Unternehmen könnte ich meine US Steuererklärungen nicht machen und würde als Steuersünder eingestuft werden. Das Onlineverfahren ist super. Natürlich kostet es auch etwas, muss man "leider" damit leben.

Apr 18,2024I received support from Amicans Overseas on behalf of my 2 sons to complete tax returns. This had to be done for a number of years. I have always been treated and helped in a very friendly and helpful manner. Even if I often didn't understand much of it, there was all the help and understanding. I have experienced several employees during the process and this was always the case and they were also very easily accessible by telephone.

Apr 18,2024Although promising at the start, it all went downhill from there. A few of the issues: -Often slow response times (up to a week) that required constant chasing. -Questions not answered directly and leading to more questions. -Questions being answered incorrectly or conflicting information provided. -Other questions ignored, leading to frustrations and having to chase. -A portal that 'mostly' works but also gives problems. -Information that should have been freely provided at the start, only discovered at the end when pressed. -Uses 3rd party services, basically making Americans Overseas a middleman, and entirely unnessessary. -Took far too long at every step of the process. - If you aren't from the Netherlands, you will need to do some work yourself becase 'they do not know the situation in other countries'. -Very expensive sevice. I have since used another company for a similar service at a fith of the Americans Overseas quote(!). The other company was lightening fast and I didnt experience any of the above problems/delays/frustrations. In summary I feel very overcharged for a below average service. I will not be using them again.

I have consulted with them a number of times about compliance / tax issues and they connected me with a very knowledgeable CPA who has helped me with the complexity of being an American expat & business owner living in the Netherlands. I highly recommend them!

Apr 18,2024Relativ unkomplizierte Erstellung der ersten Steuererklärung für mich als in den USA geborener Amerikaner, der ungewollt der FAtca anheimgefallen ist. Dies hat die 6 Jahre Kontenklärung und 3 Jahre Steuererklärung beinhaltet. Erste Kontaktaufnahme mit Romy Lindner war sehr entspannt und Kommunikativ. Hierfür 5 Sterne. Im weiteren Verlauf waren doch etwas kleinere Probleme aufgetreten, deshalb habe ich die Bewertung auf 4 Sterne reduziert. Relatively uncomplicated preparation of the first tax return for me as an American born in the USA who unintentionally fell victim to FAtca. This included 6 years of account clarification and 3 years of tax returns. The first contact with Romy Lindner was very relaxed and communicative. 5 stars for this. Minor problems arose later on, so I reduced the rating to 4 stars.
