Although todays AutoWorld is not exactly like the AutoWorld of the 1970s, it comes close to it as far as model kits, which is my vise. I enjoyed the catalogs that AutoWorld sent out in the late 1970s, as it was like looking at the Sears wishbook catalog for hobby enthusiasts. But the AutoWorld of today does a fine job as well.

Jan 08,2025Nothing new from them, just old kits with new packaging and decal sheet. Pricing is high for kits that I can buy at Hobby Lobby much cheaper. They seem to be pushing the Johnny Lighting 1/64 die cast. When are they going to cast new 1/25 kits that have never been on the market. I can think of 10 new kits that could be made. Just keep buying that remodeled stuff and Auto World will remain stag-net for another 10 years. Wake up modelers!
