Oct 21,2024After a frustrating few days dealing with John Lewis customer service (in South Africa, aarrggghh), Virgin Media (in India, grrrrr) and DHL (Germany), it was a pleasure having my first order with Best of British Beer (a birthday gift for an old friend), having been refused (really?...in reality dropped and smashed by DHL!) completely sorted by BoBB's customer service lady Cheryl who dealt with everything and resent a new selection. This still arrived in good time and my beer aficianado friend was most impressed with the selection. Thank you BoBB, I'm very happy and your customer service was excellent and a breath of fresh air.

Jun 25,2024Ordered on Thursday for a Saturday delivery ( paid extra ) even after joining up and promised a discount for first buy , still charged full price ??? Delivery never arrived, phoned and emailed, still no reply by Monday lunchtime, so emailed again , eventually told that DHL must have damaged it , still waiting on a refund , absolute disgrace ,

Jun 17,2024Shoddy Got a delivery of beers and when i received, the box was soaking and a can had burst. This was due to inadaquate packaging. Not what you want as a gift. Very bad company who dont give a damn abouthow they ship their products. STAY CLEAR.

May 22,2024Delivery arrived promptly just 2 days after ordering. Well pleased with the interesting selection of British Beer and Cider ~ all brews have not tasted before. Larder now stocked in readiness for the arrival of son and daughter in-law who live in France. The last box of Tynt Meadow Trappist Ale I ordered prior to their Chrismas visit was very well received. So looking forward to enjoying some tastings of this new selection.

Dec 28,2023Second time of ordering from bobb as I was very happy with the first time order. Accidentally placed the wrong items on my order and had to send a support email. This order was promptly cancelled for me. When the items from my intended order arrive one real ale box and one dark beers box the boxes were perfectly intact and well packed exactly as described. Will definitely be ordering from here again soon.

Nov 28,2023I had some payment issues during the order, but they were very responsive and helped me out. Once ordered, the beers arrived within a day and were perfectly intact. As for the beers themselves, I've been very pleased with almost all of them so far. There was a good variety and several real winners that I'll definitely be buying again - the Heather Ale in particular.

Nov 04,2023The IPA case of 12 wasn’t as described. Ordered the juicy/exotic selection. Only 1 had the description of juicy. Nothing juicy/exotic about the other 11. Expensive for what they supply.

Aug 09,2023Have used this company a few times now. They are excellent in being able to supply slightly more obscure brews as well as the well-known and well-quaffed ones that everyone is familiar with. Good range of beer types from all over the country (including my own Scottish habitat)> You beer drinkers out there should give them a go as I doubt you will find anyone as good and reliable in beer choices. Keep finding all these good micro-breweries as they are the life-blood of the discerning real beer drinker.

I really love the personal touches from this small, independent, employee-owned business.
