Billo has been super easy to use, and has provided great high quality content. As someone who has struggled with influencer content in the past - this company was such a relief! It has a great price point, and such a range of different tips of video you can get. Within two weeks of my first order, I was already getting my second! Grateful for this service!

I am writing from a creator standpoint. I worked for Billo as a creator for less than 3 months. In this short amount of time I was able to complete almost 300 videos and earn over $10,000. I enjoyed creating, and even received personal requests from brands to work with me specifically. I fell sick and was hospitalized after this time, and Billo suspended my account. I still worked from the hospital, but Billo never chose to unsuspend my account when I returned home, and informed them of my situation. They forced me to pay money for products that I never received, and never paid me for the videos and advertisements that I did complete. My problem with Billo is that the customer service team treated me horribly, and stole money from me. From day one, they constantly suspended my account for things that I did not do. One of the consultants told me that they specifically went and told other colleagues not to put me on tasks. As a black woman, it is already difficult to find work in the influencer/creator space, and Billo’s team constantly lied on me to brands in an attempt to hold me back. I sent a message in the app letting Billo know my problems, as well as leaving a comment on their Instagram page, and all they said was sorry. I have been trying to speak with a customer service representative for two weeks now. I am willing to give Billo another chance, because I am great at my job as a creator, and I put a lot of energy and work into my content, but I have not been able to speak with a customer service representative. Brands have reached out to me via my social media pages to complain about the negligence of Billo’s team, and I can only agree with the lack of integrity and customer service. It is unfortunate and despicable that Billo treats their creators (especially one that has brought them so much business in so little time) in such a poor manner. The creators are the backbone of the brand, and without good creators, companies would not ask for advertisements. I even referred friends to use this app to make extra income, and I am now regretting doing so. Billo always states that they are trying to improve, but when asked for those improvements, they do not help. As one of their top creators, it is very unfortunate that I have been treated like this, and after speaking with a few of their smaller creators, I can only imagine the stress they go through. I hate that I have to leave a negative review, but I am not satisfied with the services of this app.
I really appreciate the partnership with Billo. The support is great! Also, it's very easy to create tasks and get videos. There is a large selection of creators. I also like that I notice progress in the platform and include new options. Good job!

My 5 star review goes directly to the customer service staff, well most of them. I am writing from the creators standpoint. Signing up to use the app is easy. It took me awhile to get selected for tasks so I reached out to Billo asking for advice and they gave me some tips on how to change my audition video. Originally I was only getting paid $20 a video for which felt discouraging at first since I was putting in at least 3hrs to film and edit. I am a protectionist. Eventually they raised the pay to $35. The brands can upload the tracking info which helps me schedule my week so I know when I will be shooting the videos, but when they don’t, it leaves a gap for errors such as not knowing if a package was dropped off at the wrong house, or if someone is home to bring the box in before a porch pirate swipes it. After submitting my video there can sometimes be a long waiting period to get it approved by the client or know if they would like to have some edits done. This can be frustrating as Billo expects these changes to be done within 24hrs. They don’t take into account your personal life, like if you’re out of town, the other tasks your working on that might be delayed cause of this. Once I starting getting approved more often the rush of getting 15 packages at once was a bit overwhelming because they want the videos due within 2-3 days and balancing a daily work life and Billo is alot. See when you apply for tasks, a smart creator would apply to many to up their chances of getting picked. Sometimes you apply to 20, and you get 3 tasks, but on those lucky days when you apply to 20 and get 15….it’s a blessing and a curse. I wish you could put a limit on your personal account like “this creator has 15 tasks pending so there will be longer turn around times if you wish to hire them” There was a period when Billo was emailing constantly asking when I was going to submit a video the day the package was delivered and since the staff is not located in the US, emails come in at 1-3am. Or if you’ve told them a date, they email you that day at 1am with a sense of urgency sounding like your late cause you promised X day and you’re like “I still have 20+ hours in the day to get it done” Billo makes promises to the clients ordering these videos fast turn around times. So the customer service teams does a good job at making sure the creator understands the expectations and asks if they have any questions to help them with creating the video.
I absolutely love the Billo. It so easy to use and the quality of video received from influencers have been great! I will definitely be using them often for my video ads

Apr 15,2022My Billo task was more involved than the typical task, but the creators were totally up for it. The Billo team was patient and worked with my team and the creators to make sure all the videos came out great.
