I have always felt out of my depth with these types of investments but I was shown patience and support through the process. We hear conflicting advice and we struggle to understand the mysterious charges (sometimes hidden until later). Many friends have had the same experience but then Blevins Franks was recommended to us and we have been happy to put our affairs in their hands. It’s always a pleasure to visit the Blevins Franks office, there’s a pleasant atmosphere and a warm welcome from Emma Westin and she makes a great cup of coffee! We are advised by Dan Henderson and Andre Santos, they are always punctual for our meetings and after a friendly chat we get down to business, they are well prepared and genuinely interested in giving us the best advice possible. Everything is carefully explained, their printed reports are very professional as are their emails. Communications with the whole team are excellent. They offer a top class range of products to suit everyone, they helped us transfer investments managed in the U.K. to Portuguese compliant funds. It was very important that they had expert knowledge in cross border problems and they certainly do!

Firstly we were introduced to Brett, who guided and advised us as to what our best options were for our financial planning. This advice was tailored to our specific position and not generalised. When the investment was made, the systems in place give you certainty as to your portfolio in real time and the ability to check your financial position as regularly as needed. Ongoing we have been managed by Cara who has provided support and advice to help us make informed choices. All round a stress free experience, for what can be, a very scary subject!
