Jun 05,2022Fit and finish is great. Doesn’t get hot when riding on it. All in all a well made product. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I have a Honda Rebel 1100 with a seat that seems to be wearing out. After sitting on it for 20 minutes my backside starts to get sore. At 30 minutes my seat is pretty uncomfortable. I had hoped that the butt buffer would take care of this but it didn’t. It extended my pain free ride time by 5 to 10 minutes. So, I’m getting the seat foam redone instead. With the 30 day money back guarantee you have nothing to lose. It might work for you and if not, return it. Great company to work with. EDIT: As you can see from the company response, this is a great company to work with. I didn’t realize they did refoaming of the seats as well. Will be calling next week. Upped for 4 stars because the company is so great to work with.

Jun 02,2022I put on about 500 miles this last weekend. It seems to be a bit more comfortable than just the seat. My problem is there is no real place to hook the very large hooks it comes with. I watched a couple videos that said to wrap it around the seat and hook them together, but if I do that the seat won't go back in place correctly.

May 29,2022I actually installed the Butt Buffer under my seat cover. For some reason I was not impressed with it mounted on top of my seat. Decided to give it another shot. I removed my seat cover and used spray adhesive and laid the Butt Buffer down. Used some foam to "fill" the front portion of the seat and then stapled the seat cover. My seat is now very comfortable! My bike is a BMW R18 Transcontinental. With this set up I can now ride an hour and a half before discomfort starts. Prior to Butt Buffer after a half hour discomfort would start.
