Jan 08,2025They charge 12.50 postage to Isle of Wight irrespective how much you spend, then send it using royal mail which doesn't cost them any extra to send than the mainland with free postage!! So I go to the effort of sending it to a friend on the mainland and collect it when I next see them to save some money and could have delivered it to the island anyway makes no difference at all!! Very frustrating they try scam us for extra money that doesnt need to be paid they must think we are idiots. Gustharts don't charge any extra for isle of wight and its free for £75+ spend, they also use Royal mail.

Jun 24,2024I purchased a cordless Husqvarna lawnmower, which was delivered on 20 April 2024. Buxtons was good enough to replace a button that had broken on the left side after just a couple of mows. However, now a screw on the right side has come loose, which has caused the whole of the right side handle to detach from the machine. Additionally, the handles, when extended to full height do not stay in place and keep sliding down while mowing. Overall not a well-built machine.

On top of this, Buxtons offered free delivery on my order. Free, express delivery that is. And they meant it. Their comprehensive tracking ensured I received my well packaged order the very next day!

The prices are extremely competitive, delivery is absurdly fast (&free!) and I've never had any issues with customer service. I usually order online, but one time I visited the show room and one of the staff was really helpful when it came to choosing a new pair of chainsaw boots. Couldn't recommend Buxtons enough and I will continue to buy from them as my first choice supplier for all things arb and garden related. Thanks.
