Dec 14,2021Don’t take any notice of the delivery given. Check out says 10 working days which in reality turns out to be 5 weeks from placement of order. If I’d known this I would have bought from elsewhere.

Dec 09,2021I needed a toughened glass panel for a landing ballustrade on my loft conversion project which was due to be signed off on fri 17th december. After speaking to them on the phone, I was told that if I place the order on that day (fri 3rd) it would be 10 working days for delivery, which would work out perfectly. I also made sure that the 10 working days included actually receiving the glass and was not just the dispatch date. Again this was confirmed verbally over the phone. Yesterday I received an email saying that it will not be delivered until monday 20th, and that the delivery date means the dispatch date....actual delivery may be a day later. Naturally I was angry at this as this was not what I was told. I called them and spoke to the same lady who I spoke to originally. She just gave me some lazy excuses and then told me that they dont even deliver to my post code on fridays!!! WHY DID SHE NOT TELL ME THAT WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER?! I would have gone to another company had I known this. I am now having to negotiate with the builder as to when they can come back to fit the glass as he is away for christmas from the monday when the glass is being delivered. I feel totally stitched up by buyglass.co and will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone. I was told what I wanted to hear so that I placed the order. It was only a panel less than a square metre aswell.

Dec 08,2021Very easy to order, only one query (from a complete novice!) which was answered promptly and clearly. Email came the day before delivery to say everything on target and delivery would be between 8am and 12 noon with a phone call from the driver 30mins before delivery. The order arrived at 8.30am but with no 30 minute warning call. Glass exactly as described with protective sponge pads. Very pleased with purchase and would have given 5 stars if we had had the phone call before hand to enable us to move the car and move a couple of things in the garage where we have stored the glass. Would definitely recommend this company.
