Gonna need to put a lot of faith in the tie down straps for anything stronger than a light breeze. The material seems to be of decent quality for outdoor protection, but only if it stays in place

Jul 12,2024I paid for OVERNIGHT shipping ($160.00) Not only did it NOT arrive over night, it didn't arrive in my area until SATURDAY - THREE days AFTER it SHOULD have arrived. Add to that, it was not scheduled to be delivered until TUESDAY - a FULL WEEK after it was ordered !!!!! Finally, it was NOT Delivered - I had to drive 15 miles to the FEDX warehouse. Once there I was informed that the package was NOT checked in and would NOT BE checked in until Tuesday as it was a holiday weekend. The ONLY reason why I was able to get the package was due SOLELY to the kindness, empathy and compassion of the two employees on sight. Cody Johns & Deven Warner. Deven took it upon himself to look thru the crate to find my SPECIFIC package. It was PURELY thru these two young men that I was able to receive the package. The little (VERY LITTLE) communication or "help" I received from CarCover staff was not only insufficient, but it was also INCORRECT! The main thing told to me was that the delay was the fault of FED X. At NO POINT, even to date, has CarCover made any attempt to REFUND the EXTRA SHIPPING that I paid. Please do the right thing and REFUND the $160.00 I paid for OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. THANK YOU Sincerely, Karr M Smith

Jul 12,2024I do not like the fit of the cover, It 'sort of' fits, but even with folded mirrors it is not perfect. With stronger winds, it billows and flaps a lot. From the 'hardware' bag, the plastic clips that hold down the front and the back with nylon straps, there where only 2 'males' and one 'female' clip. One missing which i had to get from the hardware store. The Fabric quality is good, that is why I did not send it back.

Jul 11,2024I purchased the Gold Shield cover with lifetime warranty. It did not make it 6 months before falling apart. I live in California where it can get very hot in the summer, but this cover did not even make it through summer. I received in January and by June it has become a complete disaster. The outside material of the cover is disintegrating and shed all over the car and ground. I can gently brush my finger over the material and it'll crumble right off. I have photos, but don't see an option to upload them here. I do not even want to utilize the warranty, because the cover is so terrible and the price is ridiculous for the quality. I recommend purchasing from carcovers.com (Very important it is carcovers.com and not carcover.com). I have a friend who has covers from carcovers.com that have lasted several years with no issues of disintegration. I would rather get a refund than utilize the warranty for this poorly made cover. I highly doubt the 5 star reviews are legitimate.
