Dec 29,2024CarCover.com use to be a company that was reliable and stood by their products and services. Recently they sent me a car cover under the warranty program that does not fit my car. On 10-21-24 I started a new warranty claim due to the cover not fitting my car. Instead of them replacing my cover with the correct fitting cover, they offered a $30 refund as a settlement to the case. It's been over 90 days of going back and forth about receiving my refund, which they claim has been issued. Which it has not been issued!!! I would attach my email thread to this complaint, but it's way to long. This company is no longer reputable due to my current experience and I would advise customers to shop elsewhere. Also, I need to mention my car cover started to deteriorate after just 3 weeks upon receiving. That issue makes the material being used questionable and not reliable.

Dec 22,2024There life time gold shied warranty is a joke. My cover lasted a totall of 9 months. Cover was only on for 4 months. I sent pictures and explained that the cover was only in use for 4 months. I told them that i would be willing to pay for an upgrade or a treatment to extend the wear of the material. The reply was they would send me another cover if I woild pay another 86.00 dollars! Now why would I pay 86 dollars for another cover that only last 4 months? There warranty and quality of product is a joke. Never will do business with this company again.

Dec 14,2024Left the cover on my truck for two weeks while I was out of the country. It rained some while I was gone. When I got back, my NEW truck STANK like a cat liter box or something. After this cover gets wet, it begins to stink and it is hard to get the smell out of your vehicle!

Dec 11,2024I purchased a car cover with lifetime warranty. It was supposed to be the best cover with 5 layers of material, it costed me around 180 dollars. I bought it in nov 2023 in anticipation of moving to Florida and won’t have a garage anymore. I didn’t move to Florida in April of 2024 and did not use the cover right away. I probably only have about 6 months of use and it’s already falling apart. The material is ripping and rips easily especially when there is moisture under the cover that happens ever morning. I have a hole on top I covered with tape temporarily. I sent an email to the company with photos and told me I had to pay a 70 dollar fee. When I called the company they lowed it down to 50 and made some excuse that they “improved” the product. Supposedly it’s washable but I did not even attempt this bc it’s too bulky and it would probably just fall apart. I bought this on the false premise that it is water resistant and it is not. Water gets trapped underneath without it even have rained. I’m hesitant to spend 50 dollars on a sub par product that has only lasted about 6 months of use. No where did I see on their description that their “lifetime” warrantee requires a fee to replace. They also have a website by the same owner called carcoverstore.com and I think it’s meant to confuse people.

Horrible customer service, mislead you as a customer, don’t deliver when they say they’re going to and then give you 1 million excuses, won’t refund your money, just avoid these people. It sounds like a scam and it really operates like one with an overseas customer service group that have no idea what the hell they’re doing.

Dec 05,2024I bought a Gold Shield 5L Car Cover for my 1973 Corvette from Carcover.com. They advertise that it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Well, that is NOT exactly true. You should not believe what it says on the purchase ad. It was a quite expensive $162 so I thought it would last quite a while and then it would be replaced due to the Lifetime Warranty. Well, it deteriorated after only 2 years. I contacted Customer service to get the Warranty started. They told me they would send a new one for $72. I said it has a Lifetime Warranty but they said check TERMS AND CONDITIONS on their site. On there it says the Warranty is PRORATED. I told them the ad should say Limited Prorated Lifetime Warranty. So in my estimation their ad is FALSE ADVERTISING. I could buy 2 cheaper car covers on Amazon for $72 and each one of them would last at least 2 years. I can't tell you not to buy from Carcover.com but I can tell you that I won't buy from them EVER AGAIN.

Nov 27,2024Absolutely horrible. Horrible customer service, horrible, chinzy product that ripped before I even got it on my camper. I purchased on Nov 1st. My plans changed and I no longer needed it, so I reached out to the company to request a refund. I told them I'd just return to sender. It hadn't been delivered yet. They said no (bad business practice) but offered me 20% off. I had to change my plans back because of this. I'm bedridden so my boyfriend and my mother went to put it on my camper. This cover is cheap as hell. It ripped just trying to get it on my camper. It also came with zero instructions. I sent a picture of the ripped cover to the company and at first, they offered to send a new one. When I told them I didn't want another cover that would rip just as easily, their customer service attacked me, saying their covers don't rip like that. Clearly they DO, since mine did. Now they're not offering me anything and I have nothing to protect my camper. As mentioned previously, I am disabled and my camper is my only real asset. Now it will get weather damage that I can't afford because this company wanted to take $300 for a cheap, easily damaged product. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY CON YOU.

Nov 13,2024I ordered an indoor cover 2 months back. Still in shrink wrapped box, and never opened. I traded the car off before using the cover. There return policy is 30 days. Therefore they will not accept a return, even with an offered return to stock charge I offered. I now have a $160.00 cover, never opened that fits nothing that I own. I have reached out one more time for some sort of satisfaction on this. I will report back if I receive any help at all.

Nov 08,2024Bought two 5 star covers on7/16/24.11/7/24 both are junk, falling apart. Lifetime warrant my ass. Pro rated warranty after 6 months of age. At this rate Ill have to pay for three a year. BE ADVISED JUNK.Trustpilot a crappy websight also

Nov 05,2024I purchased a cover for my RV in October 2022. It didn’t arrive with the proper straps and took 2 more months for them to send it to me. Now, not even 2 years later that I’ve actually been able to use the cover, it’s ripped and falling apart. Of course I have messaged them and sent pictures to ask for a replacement cover. The response I received was that I would need to pay 174.99 to get my cover with a lifetime warranty replaced. So, 2 years out of a lifetime? They have absolute crap for customer service and I would never purchase anything again through this company. Why would I pay more than half of what I paid 2 years ago? It is because of the material and the craftsmanship that this cover has ripped and malfunctioned. It certainly is not because anyone is climbing all the way on top of the RV to cut it up!

Oct 31,2024There are many positive reviews (including ones on YouTube) of carCOVER.com but there is a similar looking website carCOVERS.com (plural, with an "S"!!!!). Car Cover website is not working anymore but the logo and the styling were very similar to Car Covers so this is super misleading and I think it might be on purpose? You should expect a different car cover to the one the online reviewers are talking about!!! Received a Tesla cover which is not fit for purpose, different than what's online. No point in returning considering the postage cost.

Oct 26,2024Hello, I purchased this car cover about 8 months ago for a 2008 Shelby GT 500 Super Snake before I even bought the vehicle from a friend, I just put the cover on the car, in the garage for winter in Colorado, this car cover fits perfectly snug, it’s soft and durable, covers everything including the rims … very good fit! The stitching and elastic makes a perfect fit! I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this cover for any vehicle, great quality and great material and it’s great looking! Doug
