Jason Jones got me into a car with no problems easy down payment and great monthly payment I would recommend all my family and friends to car hop thank you Jason Jones appreciate you
The worst place to get a car! First car had severe flooding issues and was in the shop the first week for about 2 months before they agreed to give me another car! They also restarted my loan over so I had to restart and pay $10,000 for a 2004 pontiac which I put $2,000 down to start with!!! Watch the small details they will try to get anything out of you! They don't care about the customers, they care about money. They act like a mechanic has looked over your car but if one has, how could a dead rat be freshly burned in your filter and rat poisoning sprinkled inside also! No mechanic would magically miss that!! They also kept messing up my pay dates, which were every 2 weeks (it was $450 a month for the car) so they started charging weekly on "accident", well my bank had to keep charging me overdraft fees because they kept doing this when they weren't supposed to! Anytime I talked to customer service they were rude and would tell me to shut up! Whoever they hire are rude!! If you miss a payment they will try to repo your car in the middle of the night at 3am! They also wire your car with a shut off. It shuts down your car if you miss a payment. They got mad when I took the box out, but after THEM messing my payments up and turning my car off for them doing that, I had every right to take it out. I didn't sign anything acknowledging there was such a thing in my car and it was my car to do what I wanted inside it. I went thru so many headaches with them!! It wasn't worth it one bit!!
I had a great experience for the car me and my wife had purchased they are professional to the point of the money you are putting down and spending to purchase one

WARRENTY NO GOOD IN ORDER TO GET ANY CODES THEY TELL YOU ITS ELECTRICAL SO OFF THE BAT OUT OF YOUR POCKET TO FIX IT SO THEY CAN RECOVER CODES THEN YOUR LUCKY IF IT COVERS ELECTRICAL MY GOD PEOPLE
This is my third vehicle purchased there. I loved them. They sold me a lemon. I had it put in the contract that they fix numerous issues at the time of purchase. I bought it on July 3rd and it's not expected to be back to us by the 31st. They fought us on everything. No Vehicle for a month and they wont differ the payment to the loans end. $3,500 in work straight of their lot, no vehicle for a month and say they wont differ the payment to the loans end. NO car for a month and they want the payment. I'll never buy from them again. Selling junk and forcing payments... Not Fair The below response from them did no good and they never got back to me on the situation... SO STILL NEGATIVE FEEDBACK Got the vehicle back on the 5th bought on the 3rd of previous month.
RUN RUN RUN...... Don't ever f****** go to carhop. If it was up to me I wouldn't have put a star but thats how you make a comment. So I began to experiencing some trouble with my car. Carhop suggests that I go Meineke in whom are also f****** terrible. Located 5290 Steubenville Pike Pgh PA 15205. They all made it seen as if it was my fault that my car was messed up. Although I kept up with the maintenance on vehicle. Needless to say my cars done for and these scam artist won't help and I'm left with paying off the car. F*** Carhop.
I have had two cars through CarHop. I went there for the first one because like a lot of people I had bad credit and couldn't get a vehicle easily. The first car the transmission went out and I couldn't get any help getting it fixed. I was only a few payments away of it being mine. I tried to replace the vehicle but nobody would help me because I still had payments to CarHop. I had no choice but to go back. After 2 years and 10 months, paying $482 a month for a 2003 Jeep liberty I am only 61% done paying for my car. They get rude with you and can get away with it because they know you have no other choice but to deal with them. I actually did the math it would have been cheaper for me to steal a car get caught and go to jail. After all the money I spent I would have done that. The way that they take advantage of people is ridiculous.
I bought a car from Lakewood Washington 2 days ago and the car engine seized after 2 days of driving. Do not buy from car hop I towed that car to the dealership and got my money back.i walked over to acura of Tacoma which was across the street and was approved for a 2018 acura tlx.
so far i like car hop. truck is nice runs good. except they like to shut you car off. if your late on a payment. they should warn you first so you can at least have it at home when they shut it off. my truck got shut off in a parking garage and it cost me 278 bucks for the tow,
I purchased a vehicle from carhop vallejo, ca 2 months ago...on the 2nd week if having the vehicle i had to take it to the shop due to the "service ride control" warning light on the dash. And when i contacted carhop to inform them that the rear air shocks needed to be replaced they told me that the air shocks are not covered under the 30 day warranty. They said that the vehicles axle is whats covered under suspension warranty. But they should know that air shocks, springs are all part of any vehicle suspension which are attached to the axle. I mean come on how else does the vehicle move on wheels. And after a week of getting the shocks fixed out of my own pocket i once again had to take it back to the shop this time for the transmission. The mechanic told me that carhop didnt approve for a refurbished or new transmission, oh nooo...they approve the mechanic to put another used transmission. So this great warranty they tell you on their website... DONT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY....ITS ALL BS. And after reading some of the other reviews about asking carhop to exchange the vehicle for another....I GUESS THERES NO DAMN POINT OF EVEN TRYING...but best believe that under CA DEALERSHIPS LEMON LAW...IF MY VEHICLE ENDS UP IN THE SHOP 3 OR MORE TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM....UNDER THAT LAW THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK AND EITHER GIVING MY MONEY BACK OR EXCHANGING IT. SO CARHOP KARMA IS A B___CH...SO YOU SHOULD PRAY THIS VEHICLE YOU SOLD ME DONT END UP BACK IN THE SHOP 2 MORE TIMES FOR THE USED TRANSMISSION YOU AUTHORIZED CUZ ITS CHEAPER.
To date I have spent roughly $3000. Was sold a 2011 Dodge Nitro that could not pass emissions. Out of the past 10 weeks I have 'Owned' this vehicle I have driven it about 4 days and the rest of the time the vehicle has been in the shop. Auto Shop was advised to "RIG" this vehicle to pass emissions and not fix it wholly. Plates are dead with no solution. I have begged to speak to management, was able to once, but refused all other times. Janine has become nasty to deal with. I have called corporate and the local office so many times that they now will not deal with me. I have asked for a refund or new vehicle but was denied. I have sent in all information to the Colorado Department of Revenue for knowingly selling a vehicle that could not pass emissions. Still have not received a call from Management with a solution but am getting harassing calls to make a payment. I did have to stop payment so that I could try and get their attention. Still hasn't mattered and they still don't care. Next step will be legal.
My father needs a car immediately and we heard about CarHop through word of mouth. We went to the dealership and didn't have such a good experience. We were told that we could fill out an application online or wait for them to get done with customers ahead of us. No one was on the lot to show cars, no one offered us to test drive...or anything you would expect on a car sales lot. Instead we were lightweight discouraged and told to basically go home and fill out the online application because "they might not work with everyone". We're not sure why we were given that advice on first contact, But we left, and have filled out the online app. My father is a disabled Vietnam veteran who can surely afford a reasonable car note. I don't know what the salesperson we spoke to had assumed, but it's ok. I'm sure they will get my dad in a decent car as soon as they process his application. So this review is to be continued...I gave 4 stars because I'm glad we got more time to evaluate our options instead of a salesperson rushing to trap my dad into a scam. We'll see how things go tomorrow.
I put on my application before i spent 20 dollors on uber to get to the store that I have been a a contractor for landscaping for about a month now and they said oh yeah come in so we can get you approved today and then when i got here they said its store policy for contractors to have to work for 90 days which they didn't tell me till I got here so im not coming back and now ive spent 40 round trip amd I dont have a car so thanks for wasting my time and money
They had an agreement with me and they broke it , the van need work, runs better now then when we first got it,
Paid off first car getting second carhop works for me.
To anyone who is looking to buy a used vehicle I recommend you stay away from CarHop they will definitely get you financed. they were definitely fix car if it breaks down. what they don't tell you is it's your without a vehicle they don't do loners and when I inform them that my car has been in the shop three times since I bought it in February now it's back in the shop For transmission. When informed that I did not want the car back I was told it would be a repo on my credit I asked them to trade the car in for another vehicle guess what guys they don't do that so just be aware once you sign that contract that car is yours no matter what and yes they stand behind her 18 thousand mile warranty but what happens after that 18,000 miles it becomes your problem what makes no sense to me is why they would continue to dump their money into a vehicle knowing that it has definite problems. They wont take care of their customers in the right way!.Even when you offer to pay more for the different vehicle. Okay what I do now any suggestio
They sold my daughter a real piece of junk and she was in desperate need of a car her and her new baby because of a domestic violence situation she had up and leave her home and what's worse is the lady at CarHop new the situation and she just took her from a bad situation to a bad situation with the deadly car the car that they sold her the battery was half the size it was supposed to be we had to replace it her tires were not all the same size several missing fuses just did an oil change and it's black coffee that came out of it it pulls to the right my daughter and her baby are in serious danger of this car please anyone everyone do not buy a car from these people they just might end up killing you these cars there are dangerous severely dangerous they don't care about you your kids your mother your brother your sister anybody please everyone do not buy a car from these people they're worse than Herbie's look what happened to them let's pull together and make the same thing happen to CarHop
I went to Carhop to purchase a vehicle in November 2018 and have had nothing but problems ever since. The first day that I had the car (should have been my first warning right there) my check engine light came on. I called the location where I purchased the vehicle from and was told it was “probably just a loose gas cap” and that if I was concerned about it I should take it to a “Carhop recommended shop”. Ok no problem, except there are only two recommended locations (neither of which are near me) and I had to schedule an appointment at least a week out..during work hours. Should I also schedule an appointment to breakdown on the side of the road? Or does that have to be at a recommended location as well? While I did agree to an auto loan with almost 20% interest because I am a scumbag with subprime credit, I actually have to be able to go to work to pay for this car. I instead decided to get a free diagnostic from a local auto parts store which stated that my oxygen sensors were bad, which are not covered by the very limited warning..ok fine. Winter came quickly..I blew 2 tires in a matter of 3 weeks because of sidewall cracks..not covered by warranty-ok fine. Went to get oil change in December and was told by shop that my brake pads were worn down to almost nothing, I was leaking oil because of missing oil-pan bolt, and had a front wheel bearing that was in such bad shape that my vehicle was unsafe to drive. I was handed an estimate for repairs to the tune of $2000. Not covered by warranty..ok..FINE. Called to speak with the branch manager several times and was told she was “out of the office due to a family emergency”. Next, I spent all winter getting into a bitterly cold car with leather seats because when I bought the car I only received 1 key and no remotes...ok fine. I purchased new key fobs online and programmed them so I could use the factory remote start/power lock functions. The remote start is disabled by the dealer due to a GPS/ignition interrupter being put on my car. (Which I suspect is why I have a bad turn signal lever that flashes my brights at people ever time I signal to turn) Ok-fine. Needless to say, I got a little behind financially and missed a payment in March. I made a payment arrangement to take care of past due amount, a few days later I was getting calls at my work and the following Monday (several days after making payment arrangement) my car was remotely disabled. I called the finance department immediately and asked why, and they told me it was done automatically by a computer that didn’t know I had made payment arrangements. I was about 20 miles from my house when my car was disabled. I was able to get my car turned back on after about 15 minutes once they saw I had made payment arrangements. I have made every other payment on time since, but that didn’t stop them from sending me a notice of “right to cure and repossess” I again called the finance department and asked why they were threatening to repossess when I was making my payments and upholding my end of the agreement. I was told that I shouldn’t take it personally because they were just protecting their assets. Ok, fine. I also discovered recently that my air conditioning doesn’t work, which of course is not covered by warranty. So I get to sit in a hot leather death-trap of a vehicle and drive back and forth to work just so I can pay off a loan for over twice the KBB value. So I get to make the constant choice of whether to fix the problems on my vehicle which I already can’t afford and making my payments on time so my vehicle won’t be disabled. I need to be able to get to work to make my car payments and I need my car to be able to get to work. Another interesting fact I should mention is that you can clear any trouble lights on the vehicle by simply disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, which is what I suspect they did before I took possession of the vehicle. They go away for a short while but they eventually reappear. This is BY FAR the worst consumer experience I have ever had in my life. This company preys on people who have had setbacks and have made mistakes and as a result have less than great credit. I made the choice to accept a loan agreement with higher payments because I was willing to pay more for the piece of mind of not having expensive repair bills and worrying if my car would get me around safe. Now I have to worry twice as much. I will never, ever recommend this company to anyone and will share my bad experience with as many people as possible so they can avoid being in such a stressful and trapped position. Carhop is dishonest and takes advantage of people during difficult times in their life. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET IT LATER.
The carhop on Havana in aurora,co is some bs my sister bought a car from there 2 months after getting the car they cut her car off for non payment but she did make payment after show them bank statement and conformation number ther still did want to turn car back on
