CarHop specializes in helping people with bad credit or no credit get approved to buy a used car backed by one of the best warranties in the business. With low down payments and payments to fit your budget, Nobody Works Harder To Get You Approved® than CarHop!
Guaranteed junk cars that will need a high dollar amount of repair because the so called "warranty" is absolute junk as well. Do your self a favor and save your money. Buy from another dealer or private party. $10,000 bucks seems like a ripoff for the cars that these folks are selling at a payment of $88 bucks per week. You can get a much nicer vehicle for the same money without the worry of it breaking down and needing high dollar repairs shortly after you take delivery. I dont recommend this business.
Absolutely Love carhop. Super friendly staff that will go the extra mile to help you purchase the right vehicle..
I just bought my second vehicle from CarHop in Lakewood Colorado. This dealership is outstanding in customer service. They made my experience so fast and easy. It took the stress right out of it! They got me in a great car! I recommend this dealership to anybody who would like to quickly buy a reliable, affordable car without any hassle...these guys are awesome!
Wasn't approved due simply to the fact that I've only worked @ my current place of employment for approx. 5 months. Seriously? Wow. That seems a little weird to me. My income was definitely high enough to afford a decent car payment. I was told to 'come back in 90 days' when I have longer employment history. They wouldn't do business w/ me & my wife otherwise. That will be one month after our daughter is born & we already desperately need a vehicle. Nice...
This place is a rip off. They’re like thieves. I paid over 8000 for my car and when I looked up the blue book value it’s values under 2000. I’ve tried to trade in my car and they give me the run around. I’ve had nothing but problems with my car since I’ve gotten it. DON’T GO HERE! There’s other options. They won’t help.
I’ve had a rough time with my vehicle, it seems as if they are taking advantage of me because I don’t understand to much of the mechanical issues ive had since I purchased the car, AAmco had worked on my vehicle for 27 days, however it had a couple issues at first then AAmco employees had said that they had to fix my The key ignition . Which my car had been there a total of 27 days . When I finally got my car back it had absolutely no gas, windshield wiper was broke and they burned 500 miles in it . Please understand my frustration I work hard to but my car and it seems like my worst nightmare. Now power stirring is out to to wear and tear. Back window was already broke when I got it, my turning signals sometimes don’t function well . I have to pay outta pocket because the warranty doesn’t cover any of those parts.
This rating that you are seeing is not for carhop this is the dirtiest place and very bad customer service ever. The cars break down within days of driving it off the lot. Then they have contracts with companies like pep boys who try to help but because of the fact that car hop has up to two weeks before they send payment for your car to get repairs done you’ll be done lost your job. Please just use Uber or Lyft don’t mess up your credit dealing with them. They probably had there staff write them other ratings
Nataya was amazing she got us in and out in record time and has go e out of here way to make sure that my car is in tip top shape. Will definatly be going back for future car purchases
This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. All they do is screw ypu over with over priced cars and the cars break down shortly after with no assistance in fixing. Their warentee is not worth it nor is doing business with them.
Had the worst experience.the carhop on Havana they told me to take the car in 2 a shop took the car to the shop that they said they won't pay for anything ans now I have to pay for everything. All there do there is tell lies. If i was you would not buy a car here there all lies
Rehan was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Makes lovely tea too!
Showed up in a taxi cab with my son and his car seat....the staff there did everything they could to get my son and I approved and back on the road........... Overall great customer service....No one works harder to get you approved like Car Hop....thanks Duluth Car Hop...
I walked in to carhop April of 2016 with very bad credit. Not only did I drive away in the vehicle I wanted but I was able to pay it off in 999 days, when I got sick and had to have surgery they worked with me until I was able to get back on track, a few days ago they call me to tell me I am eligible for an upgrade end I ended up leaving with 2 vehicles. Super friendly & professional staff. I was able to get my credit well over a 600 just by making my payments on time. If you need to build your credit and are in need of a vehicle you can't go wrong here. Go talk to Andrew & Chris at the Carnegie location in Pittsburgh
The salesman Tony was professional but that was the only positive thing I can say about my experience.. 1) There was only one salesman on duty so there was A LOT of waiting. 2) Carhops policy is they only show you cars they want to show you. They will only present 2-3 cars for a test drive. Most of what they showed me were cars with issues(cars with huge dents and other issues) 3) The car I drove away has small issues that I now have to deal with. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT shop at Car hop. It was the worst dealership I have ever been to.
We first went to Car Hop in 2015 here in Seattle Washington on Auora Ave . We had 100.00 bucks between us and they approved us . We were shocked as my credit was really bad. We drove off the lot that day in a 2000 Dodge caravan. It drove great . We went back and traded it in for a 2006 Buick Rendezvous after a couple of years . 3 days before Christmas 2018 smoke started coming out and we had it towed to their mechanic. We needed the engine replaced along with the radiator . Car Hop paid all but $ 250.00 of the bill. My partner has been on a medical leave of absence from his job and money is really tight . The manager Jeffery asked how much we could afford and $250.00 was it . I really like this location ,they have good people. You know I read some reviews that were neg everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm happy with Car Hop.
Bought a car from a location in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania about 10 months ago. Within 2 months I had to replace the chain linkage, $625 dollars of engine repairs out of my pocket, then 2 months ago I had to have the entire engine replaced, the engine itself was covered by the warranty, but I still had to pay about $700 for all of the other issues the repair shop discovered once they remmoved the old engine. Now the transmission has gone bad. It should be under warranty too, but they have nothing in place to benefit you for the time your vehicle is down. I have been without my ride for at least 3 months of this 10 month ride. There vehicles are the bottom of the barrel and the definately pray on us who have poor credit. This vehicle is not just a lemon its the entire fruit basket. Warning. Avoid getting a ride from here if you can. Not a good experience at all. Fester
I Never leave reviews as I find it to be in poor taste. My experience here has been awful. The customer service representatives and the service that they provided are awful. To start I worked with a man name Cory. He kept getting up and walking away. I had to fill out all of my own paperwork and he wasn't really available to answer any questions. I test drove one car that was falling apart on the inside. I finally walked out and didn't come back. Since then they have called me multiple times. I finally called back and spoke with a man named Jason. He was argumentative and I believe he hung up on me but he denies it. I did ask to speak with a supervisor and conveniently they are on medical leave. He then started arguing with me and said " This call isn't going anywhere." Which is accurate it wasn't. He then said that "You walked out on us" Well DUH! Your customer experience sucks. I would never buy a car here. I shouldn't have to "sell myself" a car. That's what your there for. As Jason stated they are understaffed, that's fine but when a customer is spending thousands of dollars to purchase a big ticket item such as a car, they should have your undivided attention. I went across the street to Drive Time and it was an amazing experience. This place is the worst. I should have known when I walked into the building and its poorly kept just like their vehicles.
The dealership it's self the people where wonderful. It is the joke of a finance company they have. They have been nothing but a headache the car was over priced we are turned over on it, sometimes making the payment every two weeks isn't logical so we need to pay it all at once. However they will not work with you. Not sure how legal it is for them too have a device in your car that shuts it down. They talk to you like your subhuman. I get if we where months behind but come on a few days? Oh not to mention they do not communicate one will tell you oh your fine, then they shut your car down and question your ability to pay for it. My advice don't by a car from here. They are crooks! My car is only worth $3000 a different bank won't touch that loan because we still owe $7000.... Now the car in the first week it's timing chain jumped off we went down the car 2 weeks yes they had that and the bent valve replaced (we wanted a different car they where not having that talked us back into this POS) Next wouldn't pass emissions now where we are it's law they have to make sure it passes, so down again the car at this point the temp tags had to be reissued. Lets fast forward now, the battery in the car was 10yrs past its expiration date, the driver door handle does not work can't lock the car anymore. The check engine lite now won't go off. So in retrospect this car is not worth what I owe on it.... well I am suck with it ether I give it back to them they sell it in auction and I owe what they can't make up for it (they even said they won't make more then $3000) or we keep the dam thing and deal with the horrible finance company.....As soon as we can find a way out of this hell we will take it.
I was sold a car that had a bad transmission and was told if anything was wrong it’d be replaced with new parts under warranty. They replaced my transmission with a secondhand transmission that also has issues. If I would have gotten a new transmission instead of a secondhand transmission my review would be much different.
