The Hilltop Haven House was nice but simply lacked cleaning and basic maintenance. We were excited for our family vacation with 7 adults and 7 kids ranging from 3 years old to 15. Upon arrival, everything was dusty, dirty and you can tell there was a rush to turn over. Dishwasher was full of dishes amongst other things that stuck out immediately upon arrival. One room had dirty sheets laying on the bed. Immediate disappointment was felt as promises of COVID cleaning measures would mean more than normal cleaning would have been expected. Instead 14 guest arrived to dead bugs on the floor and debris all over the bedroom carpets. I’m not sure you if the cleaning crew have their own vacuums, but the one located at the residence was junk. Almost all of the chairs surrounding the fire pit were busted. We immediately reached out to Carolina Cabins and they sent a maintenance tech who fixed two light bulbs and replaced the broken chairs but didn’t address the other issues. The hot tub was absolutely gross with dead flies, flaking insulation and brown slim around rim. Everything we experienced was in direct contrast to the contractual terms and statements of COVID-19 cleaning. I feel bad for the home owners who are probably not aware of the need for a deep clean and failure of the company to best represent their interests and their guest.

The cabin was good. Perfect for 4 people. There was a couple of things I didn’t like. One of those is the parking lot. Only fits 2 cars. The other thing was the shower. It was clogged and the water comes out to the toilet area. A few tiles were lose. I had to unclogged by myself. what I took out from there was disgusting. The floor heater in that bathroom didn’t work at all, I thing because of the leak. Besides that, everything was perfect. Good location (close to sugar mnt, Appalachian and beech mnt.

Carolina Cabin Rentals again exceeded my expectations with their top notch customer service. Upon arrival at my rental the door code didn’t work. One quick call to the office (after 5:00) and I received a new code and proceeded to have another wonderful stay in a quality property.

We have a blended family and this cabin was able to accommodate all of us. The hill in the back was perfect for our little one to slide down. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen appliances and linens. The hot tub was a little difficult to get in because of the snow and the walk to the house in the cold weather. The snow plow came through each day which made it easier to maneuver the roads. I thought the decor was beautiful.

This was the perfect place to meet my extended family for a week. The cabin was really beautiful and clean. The wifi didn't work great so some online classes were missed. None of the kids complained. The driveway was exilerating to say the least. Our truck didn't make it up, luckily my family had a 4wd. The hot tub was amazing. The snow was amazing. Definitely was a great and memorable experience.

Cabin is very clean. Property manager very responsive to us. 1st night we got there ni water heater and heater. But they took care of the problem ASAP. We will make Carolina cabin rental our home everytime we visit NC.

We stayed at Divine View. Absolutely beautiful view!!! The house is very nice and fully equipped. This house is at the very top of Seven devils so the drive can be challenging especially in the winter. The driveway was full of snow and ice when we arrived so we had to park at the bottom of the driveway and haul all of our belongings up the driveway to the house. Carolina Cabin Rentals should consider clearing the driveway prior to check-in.

We had a few small issues with our cabin. I called after check out to let them know for future guests and they didn't seem to care at all. Otherwise, our cabin was very clean and we had a great trip!
