Apr 12,2022Want to alert potential secondhand car buyers that I paid 35euro to Cartell for a ‘3 star’ review on a 2015 car I was interested in purchasing and, given that the review did not highlight any issue with regards to the car, I contacted my insurance company to take out cover, but to my horror, was informed that the car was flashing on their system, as “beyond financial repair”. I emailed Cartell to complain that this happened and their response was that, the insurance company involved did not share the write off information in a timely manner. in my opinion, this is highly unsatisfactory and, Cartell SHOULD state on their website that information may not be up to date. Totally unbelievable that their checks are not accurate. I was very lucky that the insurance company I contacted for a quote had the information that the car was beyond financial repair.
