Feb 02,2024I'm not a professional fencing person but I needed to repair my fence. I chose to visit Challenge Fencing on the Sutton Road, Maidstone. I'm so glad I did because the staff were really helpful with everything I needed and with information about price and delivery. They even advised what nails I should use. I needed to check my dimensions and so I placed the order by phone from home. Glen handled the call and within a few moments it was all sorted, including being told when my delivery day was. I paid on the phone and received a confirmation by email with a proper invoice and receipt. The delivery came as expected and the delivery person was also really helpful. She made sure the delivery was done carefully and checked I was happy with everything. The quality of wood supplied was very good and their advice made life easy when I set about the repair. Considering I knew very little about fencing repairs, I’ve now built and installed a good looking, fully restored fence panel and cannot thank Challenge Fencing enough for the superb service, prices, quality and advice.

Jan 23,2024We phoned through an order for fence panels this morning following a storm. Not only were they delivered the same day, which was great. Also, our doorbell was not working so we were not aware that that the delivery had arrived. By the time we got to the door, the delivery driver, Anne, had already unloaded the panels and neatly stacked them on our drive! Wow, what a star, amazing service. Would highly recommend.

Feb 04,2024Great communications and helpfulness from the staff at Farnham branch. They also cut the timber to size for me which was very much appreciated. The only downside for me is some of the website details (no reflection on the Farnham staff). A particular example is the tongue & groove boards advertised as 100x19mm whereas, they were actually 94x15mm and the useable width (excl t&g) is only 88mm. Hence, I had to buy another length of this board to finish my project and go to Cobham to collect it. I assume that the advertised dimensions are for the raw timber!? It would be helpful to have the finished timber sizes on the website as well.
