Dec 14,2024I’m a South Indian vegetarian currently living in the uk. Tried frozen ready meals options - supermarket, indian store and restaurants but the closest to a home cooking I came to was Chef Akila’s food. Especially loved the sauces that we get so we can make our own tikka masala curry - I did a paneer and a Tofu based one - the tikka maaala sauce is the best I’ve tasted recently. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a home cooked style food. Spice levels can always be adjusted once we reheat at home.

Dec 14,2024Absolutely amazing curry, I was blown away by the quality and taste. I can honestly say I will not ever purchase a takeaway curry again. Ordered the meat lovers pack on the Monday and delivered on Wednesday Morning. Great value.

Dec 12,2024Easy cook. Great size portions Recently had prawn curry. Lovely warm sauce which enhanced, rather than masked, the flavour of the many fat juicy prawns. Wish some of the "serves two" dishes came in two trays so they can serve one at a time.

Dec 12,2024Let's put it this way. My local takeaway no longer get my orders. Chef Akila makes theirs look sad and taste like rubbish. It's so easy to taste the difference in the quality. Chef Akila go the extra 10 miles.
