Jan 19,2025The delivery was prompt and rhe ease of use was admirable. The curries however have little of the complexity and/or subtlety that sets South Indian curries apart from North Indian, Bangladeshi, or Pakistani comparators. I have spent many months over the years in Kerala and eaten countless authentic South Indian curries in restaurants frequented by Indian families. These are closer to the 'tourist' curries served in Goa - far from unpleasant - but quite a long way from 'authentic'. The biryani rice is pleasant but not outstandingly so. I live in a curry 'desert' on the North Yorks coast and so, for convenience I will re-order. A missed opportunity to set a high bar.

Personally I found the whole process easy and delivery service was very reliable and kept me informed. I would like to see more choice of home cooked dishes on your menu, please.

Jan 08,2025I am sorry to be negative and clearly in the minority, but I have been very disappointed in the two meals I've had so far. The meat was tough and the sauce was not as nice as sauces in jars from the supermarket. Frankly, I can cook better myself. I still have two more in the freezer. I will tell you how I get on with them. Incidentally, I am on my own, but I can eat a meal meant for two.
