I contacted City Energy twice in late May 2023, with questions about a possible solar panel installation. I consider myself extremely fortunate that Connor Allen was the person to answer both of my emails. The customer service that Connor offered was absolutely first class. He patiently answered all of my questions and even 'went the extra mile' by asking the team of installers some very specific questions (where he didn't know the answers). If I wasn't impressed enough, he also provided me with a couple of highly relevant website links for background reading. From my interactions with Connor, I would say that he is an absolute superstar and a real credit to City Energy. Thank you very much indeed.

Tony B installed a smart meter at my property and was extremely polite, helpful and informative. He informed my about related issues on my boiler and attempted to resolve them. He completed the job promptly and even answered some additional questions a few days later via WhatsApp. I wish all engineers were high standards like Tony and I can’t recommend him enough. Great person for this job.

Tony could not have been more helpful unlike the supplier EDF who’s complete ineptitude to sort or understand the issues was evident, Tony listened and understood and made some logical changes so fingers crossed I now will only need to speak to EDF when really desperate, thank goodness there are still people about who care.

don't answer their calls, put in solar panels in January still not working in March after lots of messages left they got back to me and a new inverter was fitted, working now. Tried to contact them for the certificate number but they never answer the phone, when they eventually did I was told it would be emailed to me by the end of the day, nearly two weeks and still waiting. contacting ombudsman now
I was left with no power for 20 hours by my electric company! They had promised someone would come out but no-one came. After a few more phone calls I was told someone would be out within 3 hours. I had been told this twice previously so wasn’t feeling too positive that anyone would turn up. After approximately 30 mins, I had a phone call from a friendly sounding guy that he was on his way to help. Jack McGregor arrived and was such a friendly happy chap, I had power again after approximately an hour, I had to have a new meter fitted! 5* experience
Excellent job. Efficiently completed and ensured everything was tiptop, including fixing a minor gas leak for us. Very good service.

Jun 07,2023We had our gas and electricity meters upgraded and given an In-Home Display. Everything went exactly to plan with Tony (Benson) letting me know what was happening each step of the way e.g. gas off/on, electric off/on. Tony gave me a walkthrough of interpreting the data displayed on the meter. Excellent job and stress free. Thank you.
