They keep asking for information again, they do not explain how old documents can be and they must be the only people not using Council Tax records that are more than 3 months old. We are no nearer finalising anything with this Company. Prevarication is the word that comes to mind, delay at all cost, well at Customers cost. Let us stretch this out a much as we can, each month is another bill and deduction to me made,

So expensive I wonder if it's legal!! They charged £20000 for probate on a £450000 estate with one property for sale and savings! They allowed the executor to claim £12000 personal expenses travelling from London to Bristol to'look after the flats. They were unbelievably expensive, rude, slow and incompetent. Seriously do not use. Seriously

How can solicitors be allowed to charge more than 10 times the average man's hourly salary and then adding VAT for doing so little?! I'm not even confident they were experienced in the particular area of law. Appalling experience.

I found the company to be extremely thorough, I had a very complex medical case and I cannot thank them enough for the hard work the team put in. It wasn’t all plain sailing and neither did we agree all the time, sometimes I was made to listen. I dealt with James Edmunson at Taunton, he is very very organised probably aided by his wonderful secretary Vanessa Nicholls, but they are excellent and I have nothing but respect, James who probably has OCD will tell you pretty much exactly how it is, if you wish to deal with a solicitor who will tell you what you want to hear ring elsewhere.

Appointed this firm to get a further judgement on my divorce and it was clear from the start that they had no real expertise in the issue despite taking thousands of pounds off me to arrive at a position no further forward after two years of me chasing them for progress, Constantly blaming the "Court System" knowing all the time that we could be outsmarted by my ex very easily. Shifty Bunch, not to be trusted, steer clear.

I used Alex Walsh at Clark Wilmott llp to sell my first commercial business he was absolutely excellent in every way, I always had an answer to a problem straight away or legal jargon explained, very professional, helpful, very reasonable cost and also kept all promises. Never again, after an accident that wasn't my fault, they were supposed to represent me. I was messed about, send to several different solicitors who didn't know my case, they didn't bother telling me that the lady I had dealt with had quit, she was really helpful. They were rude, lost paperwork and took 6 month to take the matter to court even so they had all the information to do so from the beginning. I was waiting 15 month to get my excess back and haven't achieved anything, I have now told them that I give up because my health was suffering due to being messed about so much, they knew I had cancer and still didn't give a damn. They obviously only care about cases that makes them a lot of money! I will never ever go to this company again!!!

Vanessa Harris dealt with my medical negligence claim. I attempted to do it myself to start with but found it too stressful, she did everything for me and completely took away the stress. She was always available and answered many a question I had. I couldn’t have done it without her help and will be forever grateful that she helped me with seeking the closure I needed.

My sister and I are in the middle of a family dispute with my brother over my late fathers will. My brother is being obstructive and very difficult to deal with to the extent that we have had to instruct solicitors to deal with this. Clarke willmott are refusing to release my fathers will unless we pay £750 plus vat when my solicitor says normally solicitors will release at a nominal admin fee. It’s a disgrace, Avoid Clarke Willmott at all costs.

My father was planning to move to a retirement development and needed to put his home on the market. We instructed Clarke Willmott to handle the conveyancing after receiving a personal recommendation. Helen Lock from the Taunton office was friendly, approachable and highly professional at all times. There were one or two delays caused by complications with a transaction at the bottom of the chain, but Helen maintained close links with the other solicitors involved and ensured we were kept very well informed of progress until completion.

My solicitor left Clarke Willmott and I asked to move too as didn’t want to start my claim with someone new who didn’t know the detail. Clarke Willmott refused to let me transfer and held me to ransom to stay with them. Avoid at all costs

I had been dealing with a personal injury claim that was getting drawn out and running out of time. I contacted CW to take on the case with barely any time spare (other law firms had turned me down due to lack of time). I got a very rapid response and Mr Hart lit various fires under what had previously been a glacial process. In very short time I got an outcome which greatly exceeded my expectations for a fee far less than I expected.
