Jul 09,2020My experience with Clearbanc has been really bad unfortunately. First, my startup applied about 6 months ago but did not take the funding or go forward with anything. Then we got contacted by them at least 10 times over the next months, new sales reps would try to contact every couple of weeks, even though we asked to be removed from their marketing list. Constantly spammed. Finally I applied again at the end of June as other funding fell through. We easily hit their 10K USD requirement as we do much more than that on Amazon and Shopify, and yet even after wasting over 3 hours to finish their application, they still ghosted me afterwards. No approval and no real response. They promised to get back to us with any reason because we would definitely qualify under their terms. They are probably struggling through this Covid and not doing any funding. This was a waste of time and they did not even provide any explanation as to why they didn't accept us after spamming us for many months. We cannot recommend Clearbanc 0/5. EDIT- although I was promised I would be contacted. I have yet to be contacted by any rep. They still have not reached our, after giving very sensitive documents and all banking information. Still no contact from their team.

The flexibility of their terms, flat fees and data-driven finance model should put them high at the top of the list for revenue-generating startups looking for growth capital.

I loved the online and phone process very simple effective and they delivered on their promise. Their backend is simple and easy to use. I would recommend to check them out and start the conversation. They made it feel that they were on our team at all times, working for us for the best possible financing solution and provision of finds for our ad spend budget. They were a breath of fresh air for sure. We will continue to build our working relationship with them and watch our business explode thanks to CLearbanc and the crew. You guys are so awesome!

Jun 01,2020I'm a VERY SKEPTICAL person, and I honestly thought this was gonna be another one of those scams that take advantage of small business owners. But I truly can say that CLEARBANC HAS BEEN A GOD-SEND! And both my initial contact there Natasha, and now my Account Mgr. Rhaelyn have been totally professional, helpful, resourceful & supportive. They made me feel like they wanted to see my business grow, and help me get what I needed. I just did my 2nd deal with this company and I plan to continue to use them forever. Thank you again, we need this for more inventory & marketing, CO-VID orders wiped us out and we didn't get any stimulus money, so again this was TRULY A BLESSING! Apr 17,2020We are probably unlucky and have to let the benefit of the doubts to them, but we really got a horrible experience. Our account manager never respected a deadline and every time he has to reach back, we were waiting sometimes more than a week. Also, their clientele service is at best unresponsive and never can help... We got money and paid it back with them and I can say it is a never go again, if there is one thing a small business owner need is complicated things... I am sure they are scaling fast and maybe this is why but the experience is still far than good.

Jul 17,2020They proposed an advance that had an effective rate of 40% and could drop to 20% if the advance is wholly spent with their vendors. That is ridiculous. Credit cards and leg breakers offer lower rate unsecured loans than this and this loan has security. They initiate with lower implied rates and then try and juice their returns. I might have to change my business model to loan money (but state that it's not lending) to make returns like that. They have a better return than Goldman! who knew they were that ingenius.
