Clearit was quick in getting setup as my customs broker. They responded with emails, phone and online chat which made for easy communication. They new all the needed steps to get my shipment moving.

My shipment was send to California instead of Chicago, in my desperation i found clear it on line via google, they were so up to per on every aspect , they were able to clear my shipment with customer and to top it all, they brought my shipment from California and delivered it to my door. I will use the company again and again. very happy customer

What we were quoted and what we were charged are entirely different numbers by an extremely large margin. And, you won't fix it. That is an issue but you have us where you want us- stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The shipper called me 3 weeks in to say I needed a US Customs Broker. Clearit got it done in say 3 hours. , With some persistence the trucking firm got my shipment through customs in 2 days. It took another week to get it to destination, But without Clearit my shipment woulod still be in a Brantford warehouse.

We chose Clearit because of past experience. however, with this shipment we had to do all the chasing down of documents, by the time it was completed and shipment was on the way, between our time and amount charged by Clearit, it was not cost effecient for us.

Clearit USA was really efficient in customs clearing of our goods. Their chat was always responsive on time. They prevented us to pay late fees on storage, as they found, in a very short time, a truck that picked up the goods from Dulles International Airport and delivered them the same day to our location in Columbus Ohio. I strongly recommend them to any importer ou exporter in the US.

Cleared my product but could not / would not pick up and drop off my boxes from LAX. The company that did pick up and drop off could have cleared and dropped off and they were confused as to why Clearit USA could not. I will not use Clearit USA again if they can only do half the job. I will be using the company that got my boxes from LAX to my warehouse. You guys lost a customer who does a lot of importing.

This was not a great experience at all. This was my first time doing this and based on the info from the site, they would walk us through everything within a timely manner. I had to keep asking what's the next steps and reminding them that time was of the essence. I had also told 2 of my business partners that I chose you all as a broker and they used you too and their experience was just as bad. We were not automatically provided with the paperwork to pick up our items from the firm. But yall definitely made sure your invoice was paid without a reminder. We couldn't access the site for hours at a time. Just very overall dissatisfied

My rating is more 2.5 out of 5. Internationally Air imported 4 boxes to California and needed ClearIt for 2 things clear customs and execute door to door delivery and new to the process. Pros: Liked fact it’s online, clear and early request for appropriate documentation, air customs clearing fixed fee already on the website so no surprises no hidden fees and one could put it in ones budget, ClearIt cleared customs before asking for payment from me which great. Cons: They confirmed they arrange door to door delivery but could not provide “an estimate” I asked for on Day 1 of process,given a potential pickup and drop off address that I provided, as needed to know if it’s within my budget. (NOTE: ClearIt did not advise me on Day 1 nor on their website services narration that they advise that customers first try to arrange door to door delivery with their carrier directly, before using their service is a valueadd and door 2 door delivery pricing is Not fixed or final because they are dependent on 3rd parties not on Clear it. This information was revealed on Day 5 when it was too late to do anything about it in a timely manner because cargo had already arrived.) From Day 1 of process the only response was Clearit kept on insisting they only provide final quote when arrival notice is provided by carrier ( basically when boxes ready for pickup) which was Day 5. Upon day 5 arriving , the best quote provided that is not fixed and could increase because this is 3rd party sourced, Was payment of $600, that all goes to courier. Pick up 4 boxes That fit in pickup truck take them 15 minutes or 11 miles to drop off location. My shock and panic was unspeakable. I Now had 24 hrs to pickup my cargo before storage and warehouse fees are levied because cargo has arrived and no way to execute the door to door delivery at this price, and ClearIt said they cannot help me with lower rate or any other option it’s best they can do. I then had to frantically find myself another company that delivered it for $40. So very relieved. The other con mentioned is when ClearIt says they have Cleared your Cargo they need to show you Form 3461 the official customs release form BEFORE payment. I had to ask for this form myself to ClearIt, as they had not supplied it to me before payment was executed. It is needed before cargo can be picked up. Overall despite the hickup and anxiety it caused, process was not complicated and spent total 224 clearing customs collecting cargo and delivering it to final destination each step has its own cost and I had to mostly handle collecting and delivery on my own without ClearIt which was not expectation to begin with. I may want to see which other customs broker services as secondary offering ( who also are local ground couriers as main service) that can provide an importer, with goods already in the USA, all services through their established extensive connections or networks (eg. customs clearing and door to door delivery) at very reasonable budget and executes on it.
