CoolFire Trainer is the innovative world leader that provides a realistic, safe, and cost-effective way to dry fire using your own handgun anytime, anywhere. To this day, we are still the only innovators that provide this technology.
Our drop-in recoiling Barrels fit right in your handgun, allowing you to control the recoil of each shot and train with a level of realism that airsoft, pellet, and non-guns simply cannot compete with. Your live barrel is removed from the firearm, so there is no chamber and, therefore, no way to introduce live ammunition. Your investment pays for itself by the time you finish the first CO2 tank, yet it gives years of use. Visit our website to learn more!
When I had questions I was co reacted within 5 minutes and problem solved
Customer service and tech support are unresponsive. I’ve submitted a few tickets and have received no response. The product is great! Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to use it on my own gun but my husband bought a kit for his gun and I’ve been trying his.
The product is excellent. The customer service people are very good .
Love my cool fire trainer
Shipped quickly, great product. Will really help me train consistently even when I can’t get to the range.
It is exactly a described and does what it should do
Easy to navigate website. Great product and customer service as well
I really like the product, however, I have been able to get no support. I have submitted numerous tickets and left at least ten messages and have not received a response. One issue was an easy one, I ordered the wrong laser and just want to exchange it. I can only feel that I am being ignored so that my order will be more than 30 old and therefore can't return the one I have for exchange. Disappointing as I used to advise people to buy your product at the gun store I work for, but I can't do that anymore.
Works great! Definitely get a co2 bottle of your own and a paintball fill station for the best cost overall.
The price is too high for a device that requires constant mantenance replacement of parts such as valve seals or plastic covers, which cost exorbitant amounts completely disproportionate to production costs. During use, CO2 need to be reloaded more often than magazine rounds on normal shooting. A few shots and you're done (It's better to buy a laser with rechargeable capability that doesn't require unscrewing). Perhaps the price is reasonable for U.S. citizens, but considering shipping costs to Europe along with customs fees, this gadget becomes not worth the price.
The company does not respond to my support requests and the product I bought is faulty! I spent over $1000 at this company and have been waiting for feedback on my complaint for weeks Please send me a spring that works with your system and my Glock 17 Gen 5. The spring you previously sent does not allow the slide to cycle properly. When I use the original Glock spring, the slide cycles correctly, but since it’s so strong, the CO2 tank in the barrel only lasts for about 10 shots. This is why I purchased the 1/2” extension, but now my red laser doesn’t fit on it. I have spent over $1,000 with your company, and it still doesn’t work. There was also no indication anywhere that the red laser 1/2” would not fit the laser-quick extension. What you’re offering is unacceptable, and only after I leave a bad review on Trustpilot do you respond to my emails. Is this really how you treat customers? I demand a practical solution and financial compensation, or I will be forced to involve my lawyers!
I love my trainers. The customer service has very professional & helpful. Please note I wrote trainers, plural. My first barrel started having trouble after about 4-6 weeks of use about 5 days a week. I spent the next 6 months returning the barrel every other week to get it looked at (fixed). I bought a 2nd system so I could continue to practice while the one barrel was being worked on. After the 6 months & returning my first barrel 5 or 6 times, they just replaced it with a new one. It’s been about 3 weeks now & no problems, & no problems with my second barrel either. I’m really enjoying my dry fire practice & am 1000 times more consistent than before. Again, the customer service has been great every time I called with questions or my barrel wasn’t working.
Great products, customer service and support. Timely delivery.
The customer service team demonstrated a commendable level of responsiveness and attentiveness to the needs of customers.
Honestly a game changer for dry fire training. Wish there were more barrels and a slightly more powerful laser.
Excellent product, smooth ordering experience!
Superb customer service from Boone Walker. Answered my questions clearly, sent a how to video and replacement parts promptly. Very happy customer. Thanks
Extremely happy! The Coolfire Trainer eliminates the number one problem with regular dry fire; the lack of a firm grip since no recoil is expected!
Great product does exactly what it’s supposed to do and customer service was excellent

Jan 01,2025Apparently, CoolFire's support staff are not around at the end of the year. No one answers the phone or emails. I have the P365 bronze package + IR laser + rapid fill adaptor. I have tried it mounted on a P365XL and a P365 X-Macro. It works on the XL but the same slide doesn’t go into battery on the Macro. I have looked closely at wear points and lubed repeatedly. I do need to wiggle the barrel around with some force to get the takedown lever to return to horizontal on both firearms. To remove the barrel from the slide, I need to use a knife to pry out the spring. It gets caught on the barrel lug. Using a precision espresso scale, I cannot see any weight change after charging (the 3g quoted in the documentation), although I do get 10-15 shots out of it. I also cannot figure out how to screw on the rapid fill adaptor — it hits the metal plate inside the barrel and spins without the threads ever touching. In fact, it seems like the diameter is too small, but it matches the size chart - 7/16.
