Sep 11,2024CO2 valve stuck open. Laser indicates high left. About the third time I used it the Blue valve on the CO2 tank stuck open and I lost most of the CO2 because I had a hard time closing the valve as it was freezing over. The laser is off center. The laser does not always indicate or work with another red laser systems like iTarget. I believe the laser light is weak.

Sep 11,2024In my opinion the Coolfire training system is the best dry fire practice system I’ve tried. It provides a much more realistic experience to live fire training and you can practice shooting on the move, drawing from your carry position and other live fire scenarios that aren’t allowed at many public facilities. While the recoil may not duplicate the firing of a live round exact it is MUCH better that traditional dry fire that provides no feedback and the negative habit of racking the slide after every round.

Sep 09,2024I bought the coofire silver elite package. The coolfire is good but the C02 regulator leaks and depleted all my gas with in ONE DAY after training for it ne hour! The regulator is defective and the nipple quietly leaks while training. Customer service does not respond after repeated calls!!! Quality for regulator is POOR! I have lost time training waiting for customer service!!!!!

Sep 08,2024The system is amazing, you can put it in your personal carry and get a realistic dry fire. Get for help with recoil management. I thought the price was kind of high but then got the system and was really impressed. You can even practice your reloads. I had a issue with mine which was a user error. It does require upkeep to keep things going smooth. The customer support was spot on and replied very quickly.

Sep 04,2024CoolFire is the future of firearm training. The CoolFire Trainer has allowed me to, in about a month, train with thousands of "rounds" of simulated ammunition, from the comfort of my home. Life is busy, and ammo isn't cheap. Being able to get a few hundred rounds worth of practice a few times a week, at home, makes all the difference in keeping my skills sharp, and keeping me engaged & invested in training. Rough math says I'm close to "breaking even" on my initial investment into CoolFire vs. the cost of 9mm ammo. Not bad after a month. Looking forward to continued use for months and years to come, and growing my collection to include additional firearms.

Aug 21,2024...for some pistols you have to change the firing pin spring as well as the barrel. That takes it to another level of fiddling and renders the product near useless if you want to train with your carry pistol. Their customer service don't seem to care much for details when reading or writing.

Aug 12,2024I use this on my Sig P365x. This works as expected. It doesn't kick quite as hard as live ammo, but it's close. I started my dry fire home training with just laser ammo & manually racking the slide between shots. And, I still use that when sitting in the living room with the wife & dogs. But, adding CO2-powered recoil & slide action / trigger reset has been a huge improvement in my training. It's very quick to switch my pistol configuration between live-fire carry and CO2 practice - less than a minute each way with no tools. So, there's no good excuse (for me) to not practice a little every day or so. I work from home, and sometimes practice during lunch, or when on a long conference call (just be sure to mute my mic). Now that I've had this for about 2.5 months on my main carry pistol, I plan to get another barrel for a different pistol, and maybe put additionals barrels on my Xmas wishlist for the future. Unfortunately, they don't have options for .380 pistols (e.g. Sig P238 / SA 911), which is my wife's primary carry pistol. The storage case is OK, and usable, but isn't great, so I made my own with a hard case & customizable foam. I wish they offered an upgraded case case.
