We purchased a Kitchen aid food processor which developed a common fault. At he time Kitchenaid had no repair facility and after contacting the team, Alison organised for a new machine within a day or so,even though this was an out of stock colour with the bonus of an upgrade to a newer model. Highly recommend Dawsons for their approach to after sales customer service
I HAVE PURCHSED MANY ITEMS FROM DAWSONS AS THEY HAVE SHOPS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT STORE. I HAVE BOUGHT, A BARBEQUE, LOTS OF BEAUTIFUL BEDDING AND TWO SETS OF ALEXANDER ROSE FURNITURE. DAWSON PRICES ARE AMAZING, THE SERVICE RECEIVED IS SECOND TO NONE AND I HAVE TO MENTION ALISON IN THE GARDEN FURNITURE DEPARTMENT AS SHE GIVES TEN STAR SERVICE, JUST GOES OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY WAY BEYOND HER DUTY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAWSONS TO ANYONE.
A little wary after the reviews here but needed the item (cutlery set) as we'd just moved countries, had no cutlery (in shipment) and i did not want to put money on a cheaper set that would be binned later. they had my favourite brand and a good price, so just went for it. got an email a day later saying it was processed, and expected delivery on friday. no delivery friday (reason for 4 stars, should honour the date sent in writing) and called in. they were polite, slightly blase but assured should come in on monday. monday comes, delivery via DPD - great service via app, tracked all the way through the route, right down to 10 mins the driver was nearest. set was beautiful, family in love with it actually, thank you :)
I ordered a Le Creuset 37cm Rectangular Roaster for my daughter as a Christmas present but unfortunately it doesn't fit into her oven this is because the size of the roaster isn't 37cm as advertised it's actually 44cm so I decided to return it for a refund at my own expense of £16.40 via Royal Mail. I emailed ecookshop twice asking why I should have to pay £16.40 for the return of an item where I have been ill-advised by their website to the actual size of it. After a week with no response I rang ecookshop to be told by a member of the ecookshop team that it's my fault it doesn't fit even tho it says 37cm on their website not 44cm and don't warrant a refund for the returns costs and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told a manager would call me back by the end of the day and four days later no manager has called me back, would not shop here ever again as it seems the company has not heard of customer service let along them having any morals.
I recently ordered Le Creuset cast iron casserole from Ecookshop because the price was competitive. The delivery was fast plus I got notified about the exact courier time slot for my delivery. Everything arrived in perfect condition plus I received a complimentary gift which was very kind indeed. I would use this company again and recommend it to others. Overall a great experience.
Ordered some towels from their Linen Department just two days ago and they have been delivered to me today by Interlink. Exactly what I ordered and good quality. I was kept informed every step of the way regarding the delivery service down to the hour and even the delivery drivers name. Brilliant service from both Dawsons and Interlink and will be happy to use again.
The above says it all!!!! Their loss. I am Happy I purchased my Kitchenaid 6.9ltr from Harts of Stur after I cancelled my order 7 days after purchasing from Dawson's as they messed me about. I also saved £300 YES THREE HUNDRED POUNDS for exactly the same Kitchenaid!!!!!!!!
Ordered a Kitchenaid mixer after local Debenhams refused to budge on price. The mixer came within two days with extra gifts. Easy online service. Would recommend ecookshop over the likes of Debenhams and John Lewis any day.
I had a damaged delivery of a Kettler garden furniture set. I sent photos and details of the damage caused by a fork lift. 2 weeks later I am still waiting for confirmation that I will receive a replacement. A reputable store would have sent a replacement immediately while they dealt with the problem. I still have no news if I will get a replacement or not and dearly wish I had paid the extra and bought from John Lewis. Every time I have called for an update I have been told that they willl call me when they have news and have been made to feel like a pest.
I was really pleased with my order from christmasatdawsons last year, so ordered again this year. They have a great selection of products, at really good prices. My order was delivered very quickly, and came well packaged.
All i can say is excellent i have used the the online, just linen department several times. Communication is excellent as is the delivery service, they email to give you delivery times, which you can change if needed or you can say to deliver to a safe place.
This is an excellent store with great product range and very good staff in the Skipton shop, HOWEVER, I made a huge mistake in ordering online and making a decision to pay £7:50 for next day delivery which did not happen. I stayed in all day waiting for the goods and at 18:09pm received an email,from them saying delivery would be the following day. I wrote to complain and request refund of the 'extra' £7:50 but have not had the courtesy of a reply. Quite honesttly this is not about the money - my order was for nearly £400 but it is about 'customer service' and I feel they did not meet their contractual obligations and, as such, will never buy from them again online nor could I recommend othes to do so.
Ordered item,paid via PayPal and received e mail from PayPal saying payment had been issued only to receive the next morning a message from this company saying that the order had been cancelled by them and no money had been taken...I checked my PayPal account to find it had been taken!! Spoke to customer services via chat and was informed the order had not been cancelled...and would be delivered hopefully within 5-7 days, when my order was placed it said delivery 3-5 days.this company do not know what they are doing I am now awaiting confirmation of my refund as I have cancelled the order, but from the dealings so far not holding my breath!! Avoid this company like the plague is my suggestion
Have ordered before from Dawsons and had excellent service. It arrived very quickly, about 3 days I think considering it was over christmas. Well packed, I received updates via email about delivery, and arrived exactly when expected. Would not hesitate to order again, good prices and good service. Also the web site is easy to use, highly recommended.
I have used ecookshop more than once and they have ultimately ended up on the top of my list for stores in this category. An order is sent quickly, everything is well packed, they have a superb customer service attitude and their products are well priced and varied. I am usually specific in what i am looking for online and time and again I am drawn to ecookshop... not only for price but their ranges are top notch. They sell all the best brands. There are sometimes special offers to get a percentage off your shop. Always a plus point for me when you have to get something for a gift or home. Delivery always includes full tracking with regular email updates - an absolute bonus when you might not know if to go out or stay in. I wish everyone did this. I genuinely cannot fault them in any way at all. Well done ecookshop! 5-Stars all the way from me. I think you would have to be pretty petty to fault them.

I bought two duvet covers; one was excellent quality, the other was not so good and wanted to return it . I received such good service for arranging the return ; which I find is just as important to have good customer service when returning items .
I purchased a Kitchen Aid Food processor from Dawsons on the 7.1,15. I was delighted with it, and the staff were very good. I made a very big mistake by not trying all the attachments out when I bought it because I didn't think there would be any problems. The first time I used the dicing attachment it jammed and wouldn't work I took it back to Dawsons store in Skipton. The staff was helpful and was going to replace the machine I,d bought or give me my money back. I waited in the shop for over an hour with two small children while a shop assistant tried to free the dicing kit. I thought It was my fault it didn't work correctly. With hind site I should have exchanged the machine. When I tried the dicing kit again at home it again jammed and wouldn't work. I phoned Dawsons the next day and was told by them because I had exceeded the 30 day money back guarantee by about five days I would have to deal directly with Kitchen Aid. This involves phoning them and arranging a time for the machine to be picked up. The couriers work office hours, so if you do as well, they ask you if you can leave the machine at a neighbours for collection. Or leave it in a shed or out building at the back of your property, at your own liability. I don't have an alternative address and it wasn't possible to take time off work. Dawsons said I could take the food processor back to their store for the courier to pick up from there, but I would have to phone Kitchen Aid to make the nesessary arrangements. The machine was £349.00. I haven't had the machine now since Febuary.Plus I haven't had one phone call from Kitchen Aid to say when the machine will be back. Mrs Shuttleworth.
They price matched everything I asked them to as I found a couple of items cheaper online and happily organised delivery for the day I requested. A few days later they had a sale so rang to ask if I could adjust the order to take advantage of any further discount and they happily refunded me the difference. All the staff I spoke to were very helpful. Website was fairly easy to navigate as well.
