Oct 20,2022Superb quality of meat, superb service and great value I first saw Deer box at the Cotswold county show and was impressed with their range of meats. I decided to order a box of mixed cuts and I was not disappointed. 36 years in catering and it’s a joy to work with quality produce. Loin was very tender and tasty while the shank slipped off the bone from a long slow cook. Keep up the great work folks Thanks

Oct 19,2022Given the way this company promotes itself for sustainability, the amount of packaging was excessive to say the least. I subscribed to an £80 box expecting a selection of cuts and some offal. Unfortunately it mainly consisted of burgers, 2 x mince, steaks that are as tough as old boots and a pack of sausages. Disappointing. Apart from the steaks, the rest is nice enough but I have cancelled my subscription.

Oct 17,2022Superb service from a superlative company, from provisions and ordering ease to being on the table! Easy to order and the enormous box of delicious venison was at my door (when and where I’d specified), wrapped beautifully in multiple (and reusable) ice packets and wool insulation keeping the meat perfectly frozen. Very impressive on all fronts including their ethos of meat production and now in mind for delivery as gifts to friends and family. The meat was spectacular and so nice to try different cuts from different types of deer. I can wholeheartedly recommend Deerbox as a superlative meat producer and with exemplary delivery and customer service, an all round package. I’m looking forward to ordering again, soon!

Oct 09,2022Received our first box of beautifully packed venison. We chose the £100 box every three months which is perfect for the two of us. As it’s just the two of us, we chose the option for smaller portions in each pack. We were kept informed from the minute I placed the order until it was delivered, everything frozen to perfection and arrived on the day chosen for our convenience, able to pop it straight in the freezer. Looking forward to eating antibiotic free, healthful, quality produce at a great price. So excited to try all the lovely recipes included. Thank you for making it such an easy process.

Oct 07,2022First order and very impressed. We wanted to cut down on red meat and venison hits the mark. Order arrived as expected; very well packed with great insulation. So far we’ve tried the kebabs - amazing taste and great spiced and a slow roasted shoulder which was superb. No gristle, great taste and provided 8 meals in total. Excellent value for money. Planning a second order and working out what we want to try for something different for Christmas- we usually get a venison rack for Waitrose, it not this year.

The ordering process was straightforward and the company could accommodate delaying delivery to nearer the date I wanted. My family were very happy with the packaging and the small quantities of a variety of products. They haven’t eaten any of it yet so can’t comment further!
