Dec 13,2024My very first order from here. I was very pleased with my order. The quality of the box and packaging were excellent. The meat packed with frozen packs around them, keeping them truly frozen for upto 72hr was amazing. The meat was unpacked and put away, only left a pack of burgers out. They were cooked the following night, they tasted so good! The burgers also kept shape and size. I look forward to my next purchase.

Dec 07,2024Ordered butterflied haunch which I barbecued. Excellent meat, full of flavour but not too "gamey". Also had bacon which - amazingly - had almost no water unlike its supermarket counterparts. Still have rack and rolled / boned haunch to try at Christmas. Collected from Owl Barn near Cirencester, not the easiest location to find but pick-up was very straightforward. Meat well wrapped in wool with plenty of ice blocks. Second time that I have ordered from Deer Box and have had excellent meat on both occasions. Will keep ordering from them.

Dec 03,2024Amazing quality meat which cooks to perfection. I have been put off in the past by eating supermarket venison and wanted to eat a more ethical meat. The taste of the deer box venison is outstanding! I have made tagines, casseroles, venison sausage toad in the hole and all of them were devoured instantly by everyone. Delicious and tender meat, thank you!
