Jan 30,2023BUYER BEWARE!! SCAM ALERT!! Next Level Paintball is a third party marketing subsidiary of Delta Force Paintball (alternatively search International Paintball Group) though they use this tiered setup to shirk responsibility for complaints. Intentionally not on google reviews to hide from bad publicity so people keep buying tickets under this hidden name of a company with a burnt out reputation. We were approached by a high-pressure salesmen in the Royal Easter Show (2022). This person promised us “discounted vouchers” which included free equipment hire, guns, paintballs, helmet and entry at vastly reduced cost. “Valued” at $40 dollars per person they were offering us the packages for $9 per person or less. All we had to do was secure our date with a $25 per head “prepayment”. Seemed like a good deal to us. When it came time to book our party the call centre person (name: Tracey) told us there would be a $1.50 “handling fee” for each head. Huh? We felt like we had no choice so we paid the “prepayment” for 2 people with the handling fee as a start. Looked at the fine print and website, nothing about a “handling fee” written. Laughably, the fact a handling fee was required actually noted on the receipt email AFTER we had already paid it. (Note this company is very well thought out and sophisticated with their scam. They keep their nose as clean as possible until the consumer gives up a ton of money; or gives up the dispute.) They sent us a registration link and asked us to register our 40 people using it and that they all need “prepayment”s (+ handling fee) to confirm their spot. I sent them an email asking them if they could hold the spots with the two prepayments we had paid as it would take time get 40 people and all the money together. No reply. That’s red flag number 2. Then comes the drop. We click the registration link to see how many of our friends have registered. Wait a second… this isn’t Next Level Paintball. This is Delta Force Paintball. I hit the “pricing” tab on Delta Force. Turns out the cheapest package they offer is $90 for equipment hire, guns, 500 paintballs, helmet and entry. Huh? But I’ve already paid for most of this? I google Next Level Paintball and find their website’ they mention the 40 dollar online booking cost and if you are “lucky enough” to have a discount voucher ($9 per person) then all they have to do is pay a “deposit” towards ONE OF the packages below. The cheapest package? $90 for 500 paintballs. WAIT! Hold the phone! So if I have to pay 90 dollars ANYWAY for the entry package and 500 paintballs then what good is the discount voucher? Suddenly all the dodginess I’ve seen comes into focus in a certain type of way. I look at the fine print of the voucher again; it says only 100 paintballs are included. Additional paintballs can be bought for $14 dollars per 100; BUT, not all centres have this AND prices subject to change without notice. (Right, so basically they can just choose not to honour it). Being mindful of word limits - long story short I called to clarify the pricing. As soon as you indicate the inconsistent/scam level pricing the operators get very defensive and try to gaslight you saying you agreed to sign your rights away such as no refunds after 10 days etc etc (consumer guarantee including refunds for faulty product/service can't be taken away under ACCC law) They will also give you the runaround saying a manager will call you back at an agreed time and they will NEVER call back. The manager is always busy at the time you call and i tried calling for a week over a dozen times. They keep doing this until you give up

Nancy was extremely helpful, answering my questions when it came to redeeming some pre-paid vouchers as well as kindly waiting while I hunted for my credit card. A fast and simple booking experience and will definitely book with them again.

Jan 11,2023I have recently booked a session with Delta Force for the North Bristol location. The booking was for 11 people, 8 on a voucher and 3 additional. I was concerned that this may have been quite tricky to do or I would have required everyone to be on the same voucher but Andrew was incredibly helpful and put all my concerns to rest as he sorted out my little predicament with simplicity and ease. My experience with Delta Force so far has been great and I can’t wait to actually get into the thick of it this weekend!!

Booking was really easy, and we were advised on which slot to choose (the slot with more teenagers than adults), plus food options too. We haven't done the event yet, but one of my sons has done it before and he absolutely loved it.
