Feb 09,2022AVOID AVOID AVOID. Refused to refund me for a party of 17 that had to be cancelled due to Covid closure. Now the site I booked is not re-open and no idea when or if it will. Refusing to refund me , basically just said tough luck !!!

Dec 23,2021This company has absolutely no moral compass or corporate responsibility. There stance on refunds is Shameful. We had to cancel our daughters party (with over 48hours notice) as her sister needed emergency life saving open heart surgery. When we asked for a refund we were told we could re-book over the next 9 months. When I explained she would be receiving chemotherapy and ongoing treatment for cancer for the foreseeable and certainly wouldn’t be well enough to attend, they extended it to 12months. She will not be well enough in 12months. I explained this to the insensitive, robotic customer service representative who stated the only time they refund is if the person/child dies. Do I have to wait for that!!!! All I ask is for the £139 back that we paid, for a session we couldn’t attend and gave notice of. Still waiting for a cal from a Customer Service Representative and today, 31st December I get an email pushing me to re-book. What part of “ My daughter is CRITICALLY ill” do you not get. This is now harassment and causing my family distress.

Dec 04,2021Went today for my son's 11th birthday. After waiting a year because of lockdown. Absolutely gutted coming home. The behaviour of the other team was disgusting. They were much bigger, stronger, had stronger bullets and better guns. Hence the boys were just ambushed. You expect some minor injuries but to be to fire at younger children at so close range, at heads and when they were trying to walk away is just wrong. Children in our party were also fired on when in the so-called 'safe zone'. We had no idea we would be expected to buy extra pellets and already felt very ripped off with the extra insurance charge we didn't need. We had two 11 year old's crying at the end which is not an easy feat at that age. I would never go here again. Teams need to be told to play properly and fairly otherwise they leave. The supervision was effectively non-existent. Stay away.

Nov 20,2021Booked and paid £1700 for a team building day out, we paid for 750 paintballs each but only got 500, then asked for another £1000 to play on, the game was literally 10 minutes. This place is an absolute disgrace and utter complete rip off. I’m a person that never writes and complains but I felt this really needed to be shared so other DO NOT fall for their false promises and good deals.

Nov 14,2021Took 6 10/12 year olds for a birthday treat and they thought it was brilliant! Make sure you read the itinerary so you know what to expect - it takes time to gear everyone up an issue ammo so please don’t expect to be able to walk in and playing within 10 minutes. It states clearly that the first hour is just getting ready. Organised really well. You will need extra ammo so expect to pay for more when you are there - it’s all part of it. There are limited drinks and snacks available At reasonable prices but take your own hot drinks if you are accompanying a party but not playing. I also took a snack box each with drinks for the boys, which helped whilst we we waiting for everyone to get ready before the safety briefing. As long as you can manage expectations, all it good!! Brilliant afternoon!

Oct 27,2021Worst experience ever but to leave a review I had to give one bloody star which they do not deserve!! Booked via booking Office, was promised that my 8 year old son (website states age 7 upwards) and his friends can have a children's party at Delta Force Thornbury with low impact bullets. We turned up, and straight away we were turned away by the manager Jo. Apparently the children were too young and they do not have low powered guns as it was promised when I paid!!! Not only I had to deal with my sons tears, his birthday party got ruined but also since 6 weeks now I have a battle to get my refund as promised by the side manager. They owe me a fair amount of money!!! Only given number is the booking office who only come out with lies and more lies....never ever I will book anything again and please people out there avoid Delta Force!!!!

Oct 26,2021The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. Never complained or left a bad review before but these people are awful!!!! Service appalling, no response to complaint and lied to by customer service!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! EDIT FOLLOWING REPLY: Over the past 3 months (since the visit) we have sent numerous emails, spent hours on the telephone and even driven the 40 minutes back to the venue to try and speak to someone. We were told a director would call but (again!) nothing!! Your are a shambles of a company and that include being lied to by one of your customer service representative and their manager, happy to name both individuals on here if that would help?

Oct 26,2021The place was overbooked, they had two very unexperienced marshalls looking after 40 people. Obviously, they couldn't enforce the rules making the playing experience not fun at all. And, of course, when you cannot enforce the rules, people think they can just do whatever they want and we were assaulted by a group of around 15 uncivilized savages. I was hit in the head with one of their guns that was being used as a baseball bat. I was lucky I was wearing the helmet, otherwise, I wouldn't be writing this review today. And while these 15 savages were assaulting my two friends, the marshalls were nowhere to be found. They took an eternity to come, and, unsurprisingly, the marshalls that came were from a different game, the two assigned to us, I don't know where they were, maybe they were too scared to act (which cannot be faulted on them, they are understaffed, overstretched and ill equiped), or maybe they were checking their phones, I don't know. What I know, is that this was the scariest time of my life. I felt so helpless. These savages could have killed us there if they wanted to, and no one from your company would have lifted a finger to stop it. Once the assault finished, we went outside to the court/lobby where we continued to be threatened and insulted by these savages. No one from the company thought it was convenient to make sure that these group stayed separated. Or maybe they thought so, but they didn't have enough staff to do it. I had to call the police for safety. Again, this is something that one of the members of staff could have thought of after a group of 15 male savages physically assaulted a group of 2 males and 2 females and then continued threatening and mocking them, but didn't happen. No first aid was given on site, they only gave us some ice packs after police arrived, and I suspect it was after police saw us and asked the staff. They didn't even offer us water. This felt very humilliating. And, on top of that, when I spoke to the manager, they told me that their regional manager was busy as they were having problems with fights on 3 other sites. This suggests that it wasn't an isolated incident, that this happens very often and nothing gets done about it. Someday someone will get seriously injured. A quick visit to TripAdvisor and other review sites shows me that I haven't been the only one affected by this. If someone from Delta Force actually reads this review, please do something about it, and don't ignore me the way I was ignored on Saturday 23rd.

Oct 25,2021ust endured an extremely poor experience of Delta Force at Bovingdon and I am not happy. Took 14 people to my sons birthday treat. Spent the fist hour and ten minutes hanging around with no direction of where to go, had to get our own helmets out and just sitting around. Eventually got the first game started, but were treated like kids by the Marshall, who was forcing us to say Yes we were having a great time, when we wern't. We were rushed in the waiting area to have a drink and snack then went to get some paintballs, but were constantly being rushed to start the next game. When we finally got more paintballs, got set up and went to the next game, we were told don't bother as they were nearly finished. For the final game, again we were treated like children, " are you having fun" "I cant hear you" At the midway point of the last game, the Marshall said game over, but a number of the "younger kids" continued firing and I was hit multiple times in the testicles and arm, so I fired back only to be told by the Marshall, stop firing they are just kids. Then again we told if we"the kids" didn't stop firing on the way back to the safe zone, we would stand here longer, really we are adults. So to summarise, I spent over £450.00 to find the event was very poorly managed, run by people who cannot control groups, kids under 14 should be supervised, these were 10 or below, insufficient time during games to go to the toilet, get more paintballs, have a snack and Marshalls who cant control their group. I wouldn't waste your money at delta Force, go and do go-karting or some other better managed and priced event, you will have more fun.

Booking process easy and office team also helpful and friendly. Team on site are great with the kids. Highly recommended.

Oct 19,2021A scam and a rip-off where the word "deposit" doesn't seem to mean anything. After getting a "deal" to take 10 people for a discounted price and 1000 balls for us all we were all quite excited. Knowing 1000 balls between 10 is not many we all expected to pay about a tenner extra for one or two hundred balls each on arrival. When making our booking they asked for a £10 "deposit" each coming to a total of £100 for all of us. Assuming we could get the deposit back we could then buy one of the extortionate rip-off deals of what we were told £70 for 1000 balls and then using the excess £30 to buy a couple hundred more to share (we later found out we had been lied to and it was £79 for 1000 balls), however upon arrival we were not allowed to get our "deposit" back and could only receive 1000 balls for the £100 we paid. we furthermore had to pay for pairs of gloves which seem to be the second most important item of protection next to the mask/helmet. After putting a £5 deposit on a locker to protect our valuable items which would otherwise be left out for any stranger to snoop through whilst we were paintballing, we were only allowed to receive £2 back from the "deposit" for no reason. Clearly Delta force do not know the definition of a deposit and have no intention of making it clear what your paying for until afterwards. Whilst the paintballing games we played were great fun, there were too many people there to feel like there was any skill involved in each game and it relied on people to cheat and ignore the rules to win. Something which should be supervised and enforced by the martials. Initially we were told to avoid aiming for testicle shots as this can be incredibly painful (gun accuracy is so poor I don't see how anyone can guarantee not getting shot there), and with how much it hurt to get hit in the hand, I could imagine a testicle shot could be unimaginably painful. Thus, I believe along with helmet/mask they should provide complimentary crotch guard and gloves (things you could actually use a deposit for).

Oct 04,2021It’s not fair to give them 1 star because 70% of the group did have fun. I took my 9 year old son and 9 of his friends to Manchester. Firstly I was told my son would be playing with children their own age, 7-10 years and they would have low Power guns. He would be able to pick which zones they wanted to do. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, when we got there they split up into two teams five in yellow five in purple, so we thought they were playing against each other. After the first game when they came back to basecamp we found out they were playing with adults, and they had the big guns. It was no point saying anything to the staff at this point as the games already started. They all came home covered in bruises and marks and I had three very upset children. If I knew this before hand I wouldn’t of booked. But as I said 7 of the kids absolutely loved it, I just felt bad dropping them back off to the parents covered in bruises after I told the parents they wouldn’t get hurt.

Apr 02,2022Absolutely Shocking!!! Do not book for kids birthday party, absolute rip off. Booked Kegworth site for 8x9 year old for my sons birthday. Got here. Absolutely no organisation what do ever. More bothered about the adults playing. Kids left till the very end to go and start playing. No very helpful when you have nervous kids and all they can see/hear is the adults. Tried ringing to complain 3 times to not have the decency to ring back. Tried to buy more paint ball bullets but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. Definitely not worth the money!!
