As most people would, I shopped around for pricing for dental implants. I contacted Dentaprime on Monday 16th and the pricing, location, and person on the phone was great. I checked their refund policy in several places and was happy to pay the £99 consultation cost and organised a consultation for Tuesday the 24th. I shortly read the reviews on here about other people's experience and decided not to pursue my consultation within a few hours of initially setting the consultation (still on the 16th) via email. We spoke on the phone on the 17th (day after) also, and there was a confusion as to when I booked the consultation and that I would be "wasting £99" - which was clarified when I mentioned I cancelled within 3 hours of booking the consultation and it's still in line with the policy and my consumer rights. Again, the person on the phone was very polite. I received a generic email a few days later along the lines of "you will be notified when the refund is processed" but that's not good enough. There's no open window into returning someone's money. *Update 1 as of the 25th*: I called them today to ask very politely for a window for the refund and jokingly asked "is it 3 days, 5 days, or even 5 weeks?" to which the immediate response was "we can refund it in 5 weeks if you like". The tone of the conversation was changed by their staff and I was told to ring back and "type option 1". The audio was cutting out and so I could not make out what was being asked but I replied "oh select option 1?" to which he replied "yes, same thing". Just to reiterate, the tone of the conversation was changed in a negative manner and not by me. The person on the patient line said it could take 3 weeks in totality (i.e. another 2 weeks in my case). In fairness the person on the patient line was very polite. I have all of this recorded if required for review.

An astonishing high-tech, super-efficient operation. In my 78 years on this earth, I have never experienced the kind of all-round dental treatment I did in Dentaprime varna. I would never have been able to afford, in the UK, the extensive and complex treatment I had in Dentaprime, and I am not even sure I would have found a centre in the UK which would have been able or willing to do this work. The operation is uncompromisingly patient/customer-oriented. The administration and management of dozens (if not hundreds) of patients treated simultaneously is nothing less than phenomenal. The dentists as well as the support staff are super-efficient, professional and courtious. Everything is high-tech and digital - nothing even close to primitive plasticine molding (imprinting). Full 3d X-ray is run-of-the-mill, and all X-ray, diagnostic and anaestetics equipment is part of every treatment room. there are about 70 treatment rooms being operated in parallel. The dental centre operates 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Patients are collected and returned to the airport by the clinic. After all these positives, potential UK be aware: (i) flight connections to Varna are poor; (ii) the standard language of communication is German, as the large majority of patients come from Germany and Switzerland (though most staff speak English, too); (iii) the treatment is in two or three stages, requiring visits of at least 7 days per visit (iv) St. Constantine (where Dentaprime is) is a vacation/holiday resort, but shows signs of distress and neglect. Restaurants are nothing much to write home about, so choose a hotel with a kitchenette.

Came for my six month checkup and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you! The experience off my journey from start to finish was fantastic I went in with problems with my teeth and came out with the biggest smile for such a long time. The staff are so professional in all aspects off your treatment they make sure you are comfortable with your treatment from start to finish .

Seven days prior to the scheduled appointment, I received an email confirmation which explicitly stated that any late arrivals would result in the appointment being canceled and the consultation fee being non-refundable. Given that I was required to travel 135 miles using British Rail and taxi services—a journey that carries a significant risk of delays due to the notorious unreliability of UK trains—I inquired if there could be any flexibility in the policy. The response I received was clear: if I arrived late, the appointment would be canceled, and I would not be seen that day. Due to the uncertainty surrounding potential travel delays, I opted to cancel the appointment. Despite providing seven days' notice prior to the appointment date, I was informed that no refund would be issued. This resulted in a financial loss of £99.99, in addition to other incurred expenses. Please consider whether such company policies are excessively stringent and unreasonable. It is advisable to be cautious of such rigid practices when considering Dentaprime ❗️ __________________________________________ Reply: to DentaPrime’s deflection & platitudes❗️below: Dear Dentaprime UK Team, Thank you for your timely response. However, I must address several points you raised to shed light on the situation from a patient’s perspective. Firstly, the mention of a “24 hour cooling off period upon payment” is appreciated, yet your subsequent statement that the amount is non-refundable seems contradictory. If there is indeed a cooling-off period, it should logically allow for refunds within that timeframe. Additionally, the transparency regarding the non-refundable nature of the payment was not apparent in the initial communication, leaving patients feeling misled and dissatisfied. While it is true that travel plans should consider potential delays, it’s important to recognize that not all uncontrollable events can be mitigated by arriving an hour early. Public transportation issues, particularly those involving trains, can often result in delays far exceeding an hour, and it is unreasonable to expect patients to anticipate and account for this on every occasion. The reality is that not everyone has the luxury of arriving significantly earlier, especially those juggling demanding schedules. Moreover, simply advising patients to regularly check train schedules does not address the inherent unpredictability of public transport. Situations such as sudden cancellations or significant delays are beyond the control of patients, and placing the burden solely on them to navigate these challenges without any flexibility from your side demonstrates a lack of empathy. By offering only the option to rebook, without the possibility of a refund, patients who cannot rearrange their appointments due to unforeseen circumstances are left financially strained. This policy does not adequately support patient needs and could result in negative perceptions of your clinic’s customer service standards. In light of these concerns, I strongly urge a reconsideration of your refund policy and an acknowledgment of the genuinely unavoidable circumstances that can affect timely arrivals. Implementing a more patient-friendly approach would not only enhance satisfaction but also foster trust and loyalty towards your clinic. Can you imagine going to Dentaprime knowing that you have an issue needing attention BUT when the treatment is deemed outside the scope of what they offer, you have to literally BEG for your xray that is due to you to continue your urgent treatment elsewhere! 30 August, I attended an appointment during which xrays were taken. I had to book a follow up appointment with different specialist at another dental practice (recommended) and to this moment after 2 visits at this other practice, I am unable to proceed with a well needed treatment because Dentaprime is holding on to my xrays (JUST Xrays- NOT all my records) to be emailed to me! Those 2 appointments have already cost me and I have another one booked 3rd week in a row (desperation as my tooth is failing) and still no email from Dentaprime. First call to request xrays (check your recording) the guy said it can take 20 days, follow up calls said that it can take 30 days! I can't chew from the affected side of my mouth and THEY DON'T CARE! I have literally begged this practice who boast of using advanced technologies and they need 30 days to give me an xray that apparently needs converting to an email appropriate version (already paid for) to allow me to continue. I would have ignored this if I could have taken new ones but I can't as I would be over radiated! I have been a dental Practice Manager until recently and I would never treat a patient like this! I would see the importance in what they are addressing and get a clinician to address such a simple request. It's too late to cancel my next appointment in a couple days without costing me so i hope you Dentaprime will email me my xrays. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!!! Update: I am a real person with a TrustPilot account and give a genuine review when necessary. I am not sure why I have to give further information (even personal details) with a threat that my review may be removed. Nonetheless, just to note that I received my xrays via email approximately 9am on the day I received a response on TrustPilot from Dentaprime. I was disappointed with this reply as it was not the first email I have had from Dentaprime and therefore, no reason for it to be classed as junk by then. It was sent after my plea on TrustPilot (thanks TrustPilot) and received in normal email folder 📂 as expected.
