May 30,2024I worked with Matt Schmidt who was absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. Honestly, I had looked for life insurance on my own in the past, and being diabetic, the rates I was getting on my own (despite being otherwise healthy and in my 20's at the time) were exorbitant. Matt took his time to walk through multiple options with me, ask me questions, and communicate exceptionally well throughout the entire process. I honestly don't think I've felt as comfortable with a representative I've never met in person before. I found the Diabetes Life Solutions site through Reddit, and I'm eternally grateful that I did as this gives me a way to plan for my future, and that of my kids as well, and ensure that my family will be protected. 100/10 job Matt, thank you so much to you and the team for your assistance.

As a T1 diabetic, there was no way I could have done it on my own. Enter Matt and Diabetes Life Solutions. Matt is very knowledgable, helpful, communicative and shepered me through the entire process from initial application to medical examination and beyond. Amazing service and amazing individual! I secured the life insurance I needed and could not recommend Diabetes Life Solutions more!

Very much helpful and know his job well, that's the only agent I care to work with. Remember Customer Service is everything and he is the only one who knew how to get me my insurance.

Apr 12,2024I cannot put into words my gratitude for Matt and his company. I had a term policy expiring and needed to get another in place. I have been given the run around by several companies that say they can get a person with Type 1 diabetes insured but never came through. I was always denied simply based on diabetes. Matt and his team worked with real underwriters and actually walked them through my medical history. They were able to get me a very reasonable term life insurance policy when others said I was uninsurable, having diabetes for 40 years. Diabetes Life Solutions is the real deal. Feb 27,2024As a father of 2 young kids (3 And 1) I wanted to get term life insurance in place should something happen to me, to make sure my family is protected as primary breadwinner. I was able to get 50k guaranteed from my employer but that didn't meet my needs. I understood from reading and talking to others that this would be an uphill battle, and likely difficult and expensive to accomplish I applied twice through another popular insurance broker. Both quoted some approximate pricing, should I get approved. I thought it was a bit high but understandable being diabetic. Full medical exam and all and in the end after weeks of back and forth was denied due to Diabetes both times, even with an a1c in the mid 5s for the last few years with no complications. I found Matt after some searching and after some back and forth over email (and later Text messaging, very personable), I was able to get a $500,000 term policy in place for half the monthly cost of the original two I applied for - with NO medical exam! Matt told me that this was the most I would be able to get for now with my two recent denials, but we can revisit in time to try to get coverage increased / a new policy. Of course, everybody's health situation is different. All in all a great experience, and I truly felt like Matt had my best interest at heart and was going to bat for me with these insurance companies, rather than just being a number like I felt in the past with former companies. Would not hesitate to use him again in the future!

Feb 25,2024Burial insurance policies were found for my special needs! Brothers. My agent went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, even though we lived in different time zones! He also went out of his way to make sure I have hardcopies of the policies! It definitely was a smooth, seamless experience! he found plans that fit their budget even though they are on a limited income. So all around great experience with my agent!
