Apr 08,2019We rented a 4WD in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and all dealings we had both with staff prior to departing on the trip, as well as with the local rental offices where we picked up and dropped off the car were easy and everyone was more than helpful. The car was in great condition despite the less than perfect road conditions in Costa Rica, everything worked perfectly and all dealings went smoothly.

Apr 04,2019Always great service . We book a our overseas car hire with driveway and should our plans change, they are happy to help us with no penalty. We have never had to cancel or change , but it's nice to know there is peace of mind in the event it may happen at some time. Thank you driveway.

Apr 03,2019Have used DriveAway now for over 20 years and would certainly recommend them anywhere in the world. Booking is easy and straight forward, staff are always helpful and very obliging. Only once during that time we have found a cheaper quote for similar vehicle and they matched the price without hesitation once we sent the "special offer" provided by another company. We have always also had the highest recommendation of the companies they have sent us to.

Had to make a phone call to Sydney office but very nice and efficient Driveaway employee at the end of the line. Please more discounts for regular overseas bookings, even if regular means every 2 years!!!

However, what I said was that such a review as this would be more meaningful if I had already experienced the outcome. Everything will depend on the service I receive when implementing what you have arranged after I arrive overseas. Nevertheless, except for a precipitate overnight price change, my dealings with DriveAway have been totally satisfactory.

Mar 15,2019I was having difficulty locating an automatic car for my European trip using the car rental sites. I went to the DriveAway website and found the car with the pick up and drop off locations that I wanted.The best part is that it was cheaper than the rental car sites with an Early Bird rate. I was happy to deal and speak to someone in Australia and make payment in Australian dollars. As there were 4 persons travelling, we decided to book two cars instead of the one larger vehicle and this also resulted in a great saving. For Aussie drivers thinking of hiring a car for their holiday this is your first point of call for booking a car.

It was great to be able to speak to someone here in Australia. Hoping personnel at the Edinburgh end are as efficient. Would definitely recommend to others and use again.

Apr 08,2019Just booked a car for drop off at a different location which required a phone call to the reservation desk unfortunately. It would have been good to be able to book on line especially if we were travelling and it wasn’t easy to make a phone call. They provide a coupon to present when picking up the car. Since we have not picked up the car yet, I can only comment on the booking process. What is good about the website is you can get a price including the zero excess option. You also pay for the car up front in Australian dollars. So far it seems a good website.
