Oct 20,2023Ellie's 12 bottle Big Saver case is great value for exploring new taste areas but you do need to get in early to avoid many substitutions. My latest purchase, at the end of its run, did not even contain its "Highlight" offering and included no less than 6 bottles of 2 nondescript Italian offerings! However, on passing a mildly critical comment I was immediately offered the chance to exchange 4 bottles for something more suitable. You can't beat that for customer service and I will be back for more!

Oct 10,2023Great choice of wine at reasonable prices. Mail order service is very efficient with all items safely packaged and fast delivery. I received one package of 12 bottles of wine where a couple of bottles had been damaged by poor handling of the courier. Ellie’s Cellar responded to my email immediately and arranged replacement next day.

Oct 03,2023Service from Ellie's cellar was very good. My only issue was I bought Altos D'Olivia Gran Reserva, and as this is quite old Rioja the vintage is quite important. I wanted more of the 2010 vintage and this was the picture shown on the site ( the vintage is shown on the bottle, but not in the product details ). A case of 2013 vintage was supplied. Not a major issue, although it doesn't yet taste as good as the 2010 vintage, but my suggestion would be to include product vintage information in the product information section.
