Sep 19,2023I started using the eXcite OSA device because I was so frustrated with trying to use a CPAP machine. I was always having to adjust the nose piece, the hose was constantly in the way, both of which really disturbed my sleep. I used the eXcite OSA device daily for four weeks before stopping the CPAP machine. I continued using the eXcite OSA device daily for another four weeks and then switched to every other night which is what my doctor recommended. The device is so easy to use and only takes 20 per treatment. I could not be more pleased with this device. Just getting rid of the CPAP machine alone has greatly improved my sleep. I no longer wake up with headaches which was a daily occurrence prior to receiving treatment for my sleep apnea. The only negative about starting with the eXcite OSA device is that insurance does not cover the device at this time. I was desperate to find an alternative to the CPAP machine, so for me it was money well spent!

Sep 15,2023I was very interested in the Excite OSA device after reading about it and hearing some others that struggled with SA and snoring find luck with it. I tlaked to my MYO therapist about it who got me hooked up with a dentist in my area that could look at me and prescribe it. It's been a very good experience thus far and my Whoop sleep numbers are better and I am having less disturbances during sleep. Also, I have recently been tested and I am now completely off the sleep apnea scale.

The device and the app are easy to use, even for a non-tech like myself. While treatment progresses, I have been very impressed with the Patient Advocate Team. They have offered help if needed, been available for questions, and given helpful advice. Polite, professional, and knowledgeable, they genuinely want to help you have a successful outcome. Aug 27,2023Thank goodness for Cristin! She saved the day! Company that I bought the product through left us stranded after obtaining eXcite product. Had no help getting the device set up. It wasn't until two weeks or so later that Cristin from eXciteOSA truly helped get me using this AMAZING product! Thank you Cristin and glad to use this product! Much easier than a CPAP!

Aug 26,2023I have used the eXciteOSA device for a little more than 2 months now and my recent sleep study showed "no evidence of sleep apnea" (0.8 AHI). My previous sleep study from last year showed an AHI of 12, so "mild", but a CPAP was prescribed and I couldn't tolerate it at all. This was a problem as I needed to show compliance for medical clearance reasons. My latest sleep study frees me from that requirement, thank goodness! I quickly incorporated the therapy into my daily routine and found using the device easy and pleasant, even relaxing. I incorporate it into a short daily meditation and have continued daily use, even after I completed the initial period and graduated to "maintenance mode". My wife says I don't snore at all anymore (a big change from my previous nightly cacophony) and I wake feeling rested and refreshed. No more afternoon naps required! I'm so happy to have discovered this marvelous device and grateful to Debbie at Signifier Medical Technologies for her outstanding help, support, and guidance.

Aug 17,2023Cristin with eXcite has been very helpful and responsive. I had a problem with the first battery (likely user error) and she had a replacement sent immediately. I have finished the 42 sessions and have stopped using a CPAP. Still have had a couple of snoring events (according to my wife) but much better than before. My intent is to keep using the device in an effort to get snoring down to zero.

Aug 08,2023I've repeatedly been told that, based on my AHI, my sleep apnea is mild. At the same time, it seems to significantly reduce my energy during the day. I've been using eXciteOSA for just shy of 7 weeks and I believe it is making a positive change for me in terms of energy levels during the day. For someone like me, who has tried and failed with CPAP, already had one nasal surgery, and whose symptoms/AHI are too mild to justify more surgery, this has been a solid intervention. Looking forward to continued improvement as I continue to use the device.

Jul 31,2023I used the product as advised by them for about 6 months, and saw that it did not work at all. When I Asked for money back, they said I missed the window, however, in the given window its impossible to know whether it works or not. They have a couple of papers published, but please read the fine prints on those papers, for majority of the people, I would expect it to not work. Please avoid as it is quite an expensive trial and error to go through.

Jul 25,2023I called the Excite OSA support help as I had questions on how to properly place the device on my tongue and also questions on how to understand and set the proper intensity level. My call was taken by Cristin who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. So far I am quite satisfied with the Excite OSA. It is very easy to use.

Jul 25,2023I have no idea if this device works, as once I received the box, a label stated that the unit would only be of benefit if a sleep apnea score was under 15. Mine is 21. I have tried contacting the company 3 times by email but so far no answer. Perhaps this review will get their attention. On appalling customer service only, i would not recommend this company.

Jul 23,2023I have been using eXciteOSA for a year, after the first 2 therapies I started to feel the changes, a more relaxed airflow and reduced the amount of episodes. already finished my first 42 therapies and only doing weekly session to keep maintaining the results.

Jul 19,2023eXciteOSA has worked well for me, I have been using it for two years for moderate sleep apnea. I ve only had one incident where I woke up startled since I started using it. I used to wake up gasping at least 3 or 4 times weekly.

Sep 22,2023I tried CPAP machine for 2 years and I couldn’t get comfortable using it. I couldn’t breathe well and would remove it at night. It usually gives me anxiety attacks.My doctor recommended me ExciteOSA, been using it twice a week, and it’s noticeably better. Anxiety attacks aren’t happening and I’m able to sleep better. Definitely recommend it.
